Honey is a 2 year old, 8 lb Chihuahua mix. She has a beautiful honey-colored coat and white chest and paws. Of course, she has the typical Chihuahua "squint-eye", which is so cute and will make you smile. Honey is a little timid at first but warms up quickly. She loves to go outside and run and investigate, but due to her small size, she should not go outside alone. She loves mealtime and snacks, and she may try to sneak a bite of the other dogs' food. No aggression at all, but probably best to feed her in her crate or another room. Honey is making great progress on her potty training and has already learned to go to the door when she needs to go outside. She gets along just fine with other dogs, but she could also be an only, as long as she gets lots of attention from her people. Looking for a tiny puppy? Wheezie could be the one! She came to Humane Tomorrow from a local shelter. This little girl had pneumonia and a skin condition. She has been in foster care for two months and is fully recovered. She is also adored by all who know her. She has beautiful tri-color markings, and adorable prance, and she runs the best zoomies when playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She likes to climb on the big dogs and play all day with the littles. She can clear a toy basket in record time, and she often chooses the largest toys and has no problem pulling them around. Wheezie's cuteness attracts a lot of attention when she goes out in public with foster mom, but she gets a little nervous in a big crowd. She is happy to stay at home in her pen and nap when her people leave. She is doing well with potty training when taken out often. Due to her small size, she can never be allowed to go outside on her own, even in a securely fenced yard. She doesn't live with small kids in her foster home, but we think she would be fine with kids over the age of 10, and that is only due to her small size. She might be ok with younger ones, as long as they are gentle with her. She sleeps in bed with her foster mom, and sleeps through the night with no accidents. Lotus is a 9 year old, 6 lb Pomeranian mix. This handsome little senior Pom lived most of his life in horrible conditions, but he is resilient, and his joyous personality has come to light since his rescue. He loves other dogs and will do best in a home with another small dog to be his companion and playmate. He trusts other dogs before he trusts new people, so his adopters will have to be patient and let him show affection at his own pace. The exception is large dogs; Lotus does not like large dogs and probably had a bad experience with them in his past. Lotus is potty trained using a doggie door. He loves to play with his dog friends, but he will also come and shower his person with kisses once he feels comfortable and secure. He will make someone a very loyal and loving companion. Lotus qualifies for our Senior Dog discount of $125. He has heartworms because he was not kept on heartworm prevention, but Humane Tomorrow will pay for his treatment with our vet.

Dotty is a 9 year young, 10 lb Pomeranian mix. She is so adorable with the sprinkling of freckles across her face! Dotty can be timid at first, so adopters will need to be patient with her, but she should warm up fairly quickly. She is past the super playful stage, but she still loves her squeaky toys! Dotty has a very sweet temperament and loves to cuddle, but she is not pushy about it. She will gently put her paw on foster mom's arm when she wants a little petting. She is potty trained, but she will need to be taken out on a consistent basis. She will be fine as an only dog, or she will do well with another laid-back dog.
