Story
Hi! I'm Calvin! I'm an adult, male, Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix. I was surrendered on 12/13/2024 because my finders could not keep me. I do well with people and love to follow my humans around! I don't like cats and am particular about other dogs. I am crate trained and could be fully house trained if put on a schedule. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters and heartworm negative.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. December 18, 2024, 2:55 pm

Story
Meet Jax! He is an approximately 6 year old, male, Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. He was surrendered on 12/18/2024 because his owners could no longer care for him. jax was adopted from RAC at the age of 6 months old as a gift for the children. The children have since grown up and unfortunately, Max was no longer receiving the attention he needs. He went from being an indoor pet to a backyard pet. Jax is such a sweet and loving guy that would love to find a soft place to land and a second chance at a true FURever home! According to his previous owners, he has done well with children of all ages. Jax loves cuddly beds and warm blankets are his number one favorite thing. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is recommend to make sure they are a good match! Jax is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination and basic boosters. Max is also heartworm negative! Meet and greets will be by approved application so make sure to visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application and RAC staff will be in touch to schedule a meet and greet! Story
This little lady is Lulu 🩷💕 Lulu is a 5 year old, slightly chubby, very sweet chihuahua who weighs 8 lbs. Lulu’s mom was moved into an assisted living home and the lady she trusted to take care of her left her in a dumpster in Ft. Worth, where luckily she was heard and rescued! She’s having a spa day today and getting a mani/pedi 💕 Out of a sad experience comes the start of the life she deserves. Lulu has the cutest personality and loves life! She loves being a part of the family, playing with the resident pups, running around outside and sunning on the patio. Lulu also loves cuddling with her foster mom! She is SO sweet (did I already mention that😊). Lulu would love to be in a home where someone is home more than they are away🩷 If you think Lulu would be a good fit for your family, please submit an application. Adoption Application can be found at: https://lonestarunderdogs.com/adoption-application-1 Adoption fee of $295 includes capstar, spay, microchip, deworming, dhpp shot, rabies vaccination, hw test (she’s negative), bordetella nose spray, first month of heartworm/flea preventative, and any other necessary procedures prior to adoption. Story
This is Duncan he was our childhood dog, but unfortunately, where we moved too, we could not take him with us. A few years after we moved, we found out that he had been given to a family who has not been good too him. We are trying to rehome her from where she is currently and give her a good home. He is an active dog, and a little mischievous. He is full of love, and hopefully he will find a good home.

Story
Arya is between 7-10 years old. She needs a home without other animals, and no small children. She likes to be the center of attention, and tries to dominate every other animal. She snuggles on your lap, plays fetch, walks well on a leash, and rides on your lap in the car very well. She is a sweet girl, and we are sad to have to re-home her, but we have several cats and several other dogs, and things arent peaceful for us or her, thinking shes got to control everyone. Please only consider her if you have no other pets. She is around 15 lbs and needs some food restriction, as her belly hernia is inflamed with all the extra weight. She likes to run all the other animals from the food, and eat and eat. She would be so happy if her new family fed her yummy food twice a day, and walked, played with, and snuggled her. Peace would just fill her heart.

🩷 Adopt Mango an a d Chula 🩷 They’re SUCH a great pair, they stick together like peas and carrots but they’re the BEST most sweetest ever girls! They haven’t had much outside exposure (getting all their puppy shots) but they do all their busines when we out. Other times, they have a large kennel with their bed in the back, potty pad in the front a they’ve been doing GREAT! They’re about 10 weeks old, the smaller puppy is about 3 pounds and the other is close to 5. We’ve made many guesses towards their breed, we’ve got dachshund, puggles, maybe chihuahua. They’re not crazy barky unless they’re playing with rather. PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION UF YOU’RE ABLE TO ADOPT OUR 2 GIRLS, MANGO AND CHULA 🩷Adoption donation will be ($475 for both) www.FriendsUnitedinRescue.com/adoption

Story
💙💙 ADOPT PEPE 💙💙 Pepe came to us after being abandoned at the Fort Worth shelter with a torn ACL. His ACL surgery went AMAZING, he had his neuter, and his teeth cleaned, as well as a Pro-Heart shot and other vaccines. He’s having his last laser therapy treatment for his leg this week and he’s doing SO good!! We believe he’s about 10 years old, he’s a chihuahua so that’s about mid-age 🙂 He’s got a typical spunky chihuahua attitude, he’s your BFF when he wants to be, or he’ll just do his own thing. He really likes men but anyone trying to give him lovens is a friend indeed! He’s a sweetheart and a half and weighs about 10 pounds If you’re interested in adopting Pepe, please fill out an application at: www.FriendsUnitedinRescue.com/adoptions
