Meet Trigger Trigger was dumped at a friend of mines moms’ house in August 2024. He is a very good boy and gets along well with people and other dogs. Not sure about cats as the fosters are allergic to kitties, but I would imagine he would be fine since he’s seems so sweet. He does have an old leg injury, that has healed, but he limps slightly. He is around 2 years old and around 10 pounds. Trigger is neutered, updated on all shots, and heartworm tested negative. He will need to be kept on heartworm prevention his whole life, like all dogs should. The adopt fee to cover his care and vetting is $100 to an approve and loving home. All vet records will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption. You can text/call his foster mom Joyce with any questions about Trigger since she knows him best. Meet Pebbles! Pebbles was found at a campground several months ago and unfortunately no one claimed her. The owner of the campground was about to call animal control when one of our fosters offered to take her in to keep her out of the shelter. We are guessing she is around 3 years old and looks to be a chihuahua/doxie mix, She weighs 13 pounds. She is spayed, updated on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and current on heartworm prevention. This girl is great with people and every pet she’s met. Not 100% sure about cats, but we do meet and greets anyways to make sure everyone gets along first anyway. She has a slightly deformed paw, probably a birth defect, but it doesn’t slow her down 1 bit and has been double check by the vet. Oh and she is house trained! The adoption fee is $250 to an approved and loving home. All vet records and her harness/leash will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption. Meet Sunflower! 🌻 This poor sweet girls’ mom is in hospice now and no longer able to take care of her. Unfortunately no family members would take her in and instead chose to surrender her to the shelter. Luckily another rescue was there and offered to find a rescue to help her, so we agreed. Sunflower is shy in the beginning, but will come around with some time. She is a little hard of hearing, but can hear loud noises. She does well with hand signals. She is around 7ish years old and weighs 18 pounds. She will need a calm home, so no kids under the age of 10. She is good in the house as long as she gets plenty of potty breaks. She eager to go outside and will follow you to the door but have to be cautious not to let her sneak out the door. She is spayed, current in all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and on heartworm preventative. The adoption fee is $150 to an approved and loving home. All vet records will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption. Meet Elsa ***Elsa does have a lot of interest and may have a potential adopters already. However you are welcome to fill out the application in case it falls through. Elsa was found living in horrible conditions with 70+ other dogs in Georgia. A shelter took in all of the dogs and released as many as they could to other rescues around the area. She is around a year old and weighs 10-15 pounds. She will be going to the vet on 2-11-25 and will be spayed, updated on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested, and started on heartworm prevention if she is negative. She has been cleaned up and her super long nails have been cut. She is a very sweet girl that loves to lay right up next to you. I feel she may have been hit at some point because she does cower when you go to pet her occasionally. For this reason, I will not place her with small kids just because I feel she needs a calm home and most kids are not calm. She will bark if she knows someone is around and she can’t get near them! So you must allow pets on your FURniture if you want to add her to your family! :) The adoption fee is $300 to an approved and loving home. Meet Anna Anna was found living in horrible conditions with 70+ other dogs in Georgia. A shelter took in all of the dogs and released as many as they could to other rescues around the area. (We took in Anna and Elsa.) She is around 2 years old and weighs 8 pounds currently and is very underweight, but we’re working on that. Anna has been cleaned up and her super long nails have been cut. She is a very sweet/snuggly girl that loves to lay right up next to you. She would love to find a home where she can be treated like a princess and forget about her heartbreaking past.
