Story
PIPPA UPDATE: Pippa loves toys and loves to play. Content to play by herself or with other small dogs. She is scared of large dogs. House broken and crate trained. She table surfs, will steal your schrunchie in a minute, so she is crated when we are out of the house. We have established a routine for being picked up that is working which causes less stress for her. She rides well in her car seat but has to be buckled in to prevent her from roaming the car. —————————————————————— Pippa came into rescue as a stray. She has been traumatized at some point and takes a bit to warm up but once she does, she is such a sweet cuddle bug. Her main issue is when you try to pick her up, she rolls on her back, screams and pees. She is going to need a very quiet home with a lot of patience to help her be her best self. If you have time and patience then she will come around and be the best pup ever. She is very treat motivated! Her adoption fee is $300.00 (plus 6% KY sales tax)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Chris is a sweet, timid little guy who is still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place—and that people can be kind, gentle, and loving. He came from a hoarding situation where that wasn’t the case, so he will need time, patience, and understanding as he continues to heal and build trust at his own pace. With a calm, loving environment, Chris has so much potential to blossom. Chris is extremely dog-friendly and gains confidence from being around other dogs. In fact, he tends to warm up to dogs before humans and leans on them for comfort and reassurance. He has learned a great deal by watching the small dogs in his foster home, so having a friendly, small dog companion who can help guide him is a must for his success. Chris is potty pad trained and does well using them. While he will go outside on a very consistent schedule, he currently prefers the potty pad. He enjoys going for walks and does well wearing a harness and leash. At night, he sleeps soundly in his own little bed in his foster parents’ room. Because Chris is still nervous around people and sensitive to loud noises and quick movements, a quiet, adult-only home would be the best fit for him. He needs a family who will respect his boundaries, allow trust to build slowly, and celebrate the small victories along the way. Once he settles in and feels safe, Chris will be a truly special and rewarding companion. Could Chris be the right fit for your home?  Medical Notes Neutered Vaccinated Dewormed Microchipped Heartworm Negative Maintained on monthly preventatives Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 16, 2025, 2:43 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Carrie is looking for her loving and fur-ever home. Will you be her hero? She is a funny and sweet little wiggly-butt chihuahua that needs love and patience.   We have been working on her diet and exercise and she has been exceeding our expectations. She loves to run and wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, which helps in her daily exercise routine to help her realize her girlish figure.   She is such a happy little girl with lots of love and kisses to give. She is gentle and does get along with other well mannered dogs. Her main goal is just to be loved and play sweet little puppy-dog games.    She would love a fenced back yard for her to sunbathe and enjoy some run time.    She needs time with introductions, as she is skittish and will run away. She is a fast little runner. It is best to have several cozy doggy beds around the house for her to run to as she makes those her safe zones. From there you can slowly make friends as she gains her confidence with you.   We hope you see and understand how adorable and loving she is. She makes our household giggle just by watching her and talking with her. She has her own language and you soon find yourself communicating back to her.    Please consider loving this little girl for the rest of her sweet little life. She is sure to show you love and joy. Requirements: •Home with no children under the age of 10 •A dog companion.  Medical Notes: Spayed Vaccinated Dewormed Microchipped Heartworm Negative ProHeart 12 Injection Maintained on monthly preventatives Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 12, 2026, 4:41 pm

Story
I’ve had nena for about 3 or 4 years, I don’t know her birthday because she was found on the street and was given to me, the precious owners tried to get her back but my mother told them no because they let her get loose on the street by herself, (my mother is a lier, I don’t know if that part is true. I don’t know who her previous owners were but I’ve had her since. She used to have a cherry eye on her left eye, I paid to get her surgery and got her neutered as well, it was around $1,250, they said it might come back one day but that was about 2 years ago. I love her, she’s an amazing dog, but I’m working more and almost never home, she stays inside all day, she sometimes pees and poops inside when I don’t take her out regularly but she will hold it untill Ill she can’t can’t anymore so I try not to get mad at her. Shes trying her best. She loves when I get home and start playing, wagging her tail, playing her chew toy and chasing me to love her, she sleeps next to me every night
