Meet Opal. She and her sister Onyx are survivors of cruel treatment and were found abandoned in the cold in an ice cream bucket in MS. They are now in a foster home with us and safe, happy and growing, but still tiny! We think they are small terrier mixes. These cuties are now about 11 weeks old. Opal is a happy, sweet and friendly girl. Opal and Onyx are very young still so families will need to have time to dedicate to potty training, socialization and other aspects of good puppy training so they grow up to be the best little ladies. NOTE: Most puppies do best in the company of an older dog who can teach them "doggy manners," so homes with at least one other dog usually will be given preference in puppy adoptions.
