Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- SOLOMON IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL ASKING TO REHOME THEIR DOG. Solomon is a 7-year-old min pin and chihuahua mix I believe, and he loves to sing.  He loves to listen to music and some of his favorite artists are Michael Jackson, Chris Brown and Drake. Solomon is house broken and loves to sit and watch people out of the front door and windows.  He loves being outside and loves walks in the park and around the neighborhood.  Solomon does not tear things up like mail, toilet paper, socks, or trash.  He also loves to cuddle and be rubbed.  Solomon hates baths and water but I give him a bath anyway telling him that he has to be clean. He loves treats and his favorite treat is duck wrapped sweet potato from Wal Mart.  Solomon loves bones and his favorite toy is Lamb Chop or any bear that he can tussle with.   Solomon does growl sometimes when he sees other dogs and cats. He also runs after birds if he sees them and barks. Slow introductions are needed with dogs, cats, and children. Solomon does get protective of his person, so he would do best in a home with no children and perhaps just one adult that he can bond with. If you are interested in adopting Solomon, please go to www.reachoutrescue.org and fill out an application and we will forward it to his caretaker for review. You may also contact his caretaker directly at : eddinaw6@yahoo.com Phone:302-256-4318Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 5:13 pm

This sweet, sweet boy has been raised and cared for with great love and kindness, but suddenly he has been uprooted from his lifelong home and scheduled to be killed for no reason other than his family was broken and he had nowhere to go. Rescue stepped in at the last moment and we are so happy we did. He is perfectly housebroken, up to date on all his shots, loves other dogs, cats, has shown himself to be fine with children. In short, he is the whole package of a great dog! The part about loving other dogs? He was living with his best friends, Kyler, Mackie, and Nala when his world crashed. They all loved each other  and did perfectly together. If you were thinking of getting a pair of dogs (or more?), here they are, ready made and easy. Those dogs are listed also on our site and up for adoption. You can see how cute they are! Enjoy looking! We will be happy to processs you for more than one, or just one. Peanut deserves the very best, and that person just might be YOU! Peanut's current foster has requested he go to a home with at least one other dog. Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Surrendered by my former home and only having lived with one person without much socialization, I find myself unsure of people, yet longing to be loved.  I’m Snoopy, a 2 yr old Long Haired Chihuahua mix Boy, weighing about 15 #, who is uncertain of the outside world. Having lived most of my first year with one person, I’m shy, timid, reserved and skittish to people and situations. ( NOT Aggressive ). On the “FLIP SIDE” I LOVE other dogs, am gentle, good natured and playful! My fear CAN BE CORRECTED with your love, understanding and time. I’m very intelligent and sometimes to smart for my own good.  My caregivers tell me that I think I’m a big dog in a little dogs body.  I say I’m large and in charge.  I still have things to learn about being a dog and living in a home, but with your help, I’m sure this won’t take long. Just having consistent care givers I’m already learning to give and take love here. Being VERY DOG FRIENDLY, another dog would be best in my new home, but not required. Sorry, no kids due to my skittishness, for my safety. NO issues with aggression, just safety.  I do require a 4 ft fenced yard due to my fear, shyness and just for my safety as well. So, what ya think? Do you want to take a “GAMBLE”, “Roll the Dice”, and “HIT the JACKPOT”!  To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash.
