Story
Meet Charlie Chaplin! Charlie is a two to four-year-old adorable Chiweenie. He’s about 13 pounds and absolutely the sweetest boy. He loves to be around his people and if he can’t sit on your lap or beside you on the sofa, he will be at your feet. It doesn’t take much to win Charlie’s heart, a treat, and a kind word will do it every time. Charlie has gotten along with all the dogs he’s met and has done well with the cat as well. We think he will do well with children as well. Charlie walks well on a leash, but hasn’t had much practice lately. He is also doing very well on his health training, he will let you know when it’s time to go out, although he has had a few accidents and his foster home.
Charlie had bloodwork at his vet visit, but he didn’t need a dental cleaning. His teeth looked so good.
Interested in becoming a forever home for Charlie Chaplin? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application.
If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once.
Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws .
We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Charlie Chaplin.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Charlie Chaplin the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
Our normal adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
