Thelma- Hi, I’m Thelma. Me and my bonded mate, (maybe Mom?)Louise were on an adventure in the wilds of a neighborhood when some kind people finally caught us and showed us genuine love. I’m a Chihuahua mix and weigh 16 lbs. I have a cute underbite that’s hard to capture in a photo. I’ve been told I’m a bit bougie since metal dog food bowls are not for me. I will eat from your hand or from the finer glassware please! I have a spunky nature and like to follow my people around to see what they’re up to. I get zoomies in the yard tossing an unstuffed toy but only once or twice a day. The remainder of the time, I am looking for a lap to sit on or lounging in my crate or the grass outside with Louise. I am house and crate trained and love to go for walks on leash. Of course, I love car rides too. I sleep thru the night and will occasionally let you know if I hear a noise that is unfamiliar. I promised my foster Mom that Louise and I would not go on any unaccompanied adventures unless it is to a forever home. ##2208796##

Meet Jax! He's a senior chihuahua mix, looking for a chill home to spend the rest of his days. Don't let the gray hair and age fool ya tho, he still has plenty of energy and spunk to go around. He came from a home with more than 10 other dogs, and that served him well bc he is very dog and cat friendly. He currently lives with four other dogs and one cat. Jax is also very affectionate . He will follow you around, ask for pets ans snuggle next to you any time the moment allows. He is not a vocal guy but he gets super excited during feeding time. We feed all our dogs in their own safe space and Jax is no different. He does have a bit of food aggression with other dogs, but we have had zero issues bc we feed our dogs separately and always recommend that to adopters. He came from a home with so many animals so it's likely he had to compete for food his entire life. He loves to go for walks and car rides. He has plenty of energy to keep up. ##2217319##

I want you to meet Risa. This cutie is 7 years old and 12 lbs. She is smaller than she looks, and 100 times cuter in person than she is in photos. Risa is housebroken, and will use the pee pad if needed. She is great with the other small dogs in her foster home and would prefer a playmate in her forever home. She is a mama dog, and can come on a little bossy at first meeting, but she will be a great companion for your little furbaby. She is also good with respectful children over 10 years old. She would prefer a home without cats, large dogs or small children. She must be fed separetly from other dogs, and does not know how to share bones with other dogs, so its important to give those separetly too. Risa came to us extremely pregnant, then gave birth to 5 puppies. After raising her puppies, she had to also undergo heartworm treatment , so she has been through a lot, but she in now happy, healthy, any ready to find her forever home!! Please no out of state applications or apartments. Risa requires a home with securely fenced yard (I can not stress this enough). Dixie is a cute, scruffy-faced, snaggle-toothed 8.5 lbs puppers. She is a little shy, but once she warms up to you, she is your best friend and will flourish in a patient, understanding home. As you might know, little dogs can be possessive and guard their human. Dixie is no exception. No young children, please, but she loves male humans! She follows the guys around the house, wanting to be picked up! With slow introductions, Dixie gets along with small dogs her size but wouldn’t mind being an only dog. (Has not been cat tested.) Dixie is a couch potato. She loves her pillow! Dixie likes to sit on the back of the couch and watch out the window for anyone driving up – she lets you know if there is a visitor! Dixie would do best in a quiet home where she can feel safe and loved, with an experienced terrier owner who can spend time with her, showing her how to play with toys! Dixie is crate-trained but needs more help with potty training and socialization. She is up to date on her shots, is heartworm negative, and is spayed.
