This is Andy and he comes to us seeking a forever home with patient adopters! Andy was running as a stray and all the signs are there that he had a difficult/abusive past. Andy needs his time to get settled in and get to know you, which is just a few days. He loves being near you, indoor life (especially couches), a yard where he can watch the birds and Andy loves to eat! Andy is approximately 4 years old and about 22 pounds. This adorable pair of puppies, Nana (female) and Poppy (male), are a bonded duo that may be skittish at first but are quick to love. They enjoy snuggling under blankets and showering you and each other with kisses.Nana is a little more shy at first but warms up quickly. She keeps Poppy in line with her nurturing personality. These cuties are estimated to be about 4-5 months old and appear to be a playful mix of pug, beagle and Chihuahua. They were found as strays so this is our best guess. They are both doing well with potty training. They are fine with other dogs of similar size or medium size. They are also fine with cats. Poppy is comfortable with bigger dogs, but Nana was afraid when she met a much bigger dog. Their sweet bond and loving nature make them the perfect companions for anyone looking for double the love. I have not been around cats or kids to know how I would do around them yet. I am house trained and am working on crate training, and because my crate still makes a little nervous, I would prefer to be confined to a small, safe space like a laundry room or kitchen while you’re gone for the workday. I am learning to walk on my leash too. I am still a little nervous when there are too many sounds, but when I do an early morning walk and it's quiet my foster mom says I do really well. I seem to learn best when I am around other dogs (I really like to play with my fur siblings), so I would thrive really well in a home with another dog. One of my favorite things to do is play and get my young dog energy out. I love cheese and bones and I really enjoy cuddling. I also like to lounge around, go to the park and take my calm walks. I cannot wait to find my very own active family who will give me all the love and attention I deserve and who will be patient with me as I learn what being a dog means. We rescued Pip from a shelter in 2016. We believe he was about 1 at the time. Brought him home and got him a friend (Brown dog in picture) as my wife and I were working full time. We now have kids and just can’t provide him the time or life he wants. He loves to cuddle and play. Very sweet and loving. Pip can be territorial so we dont let our kids play around him. They are around him and he is no problem but we worry about them trying to take a toy from him. He understands going potty outside and does but sometimes decides to go inside.
