Coco loves her walks and will even tell her foster mom when it’s walk time! This little Chihuahua mix is happy to nap on the couch or go for a long walk - as long as she’s with her person. She does well with her foster cat siblings. She is good with respectful older kids but hasn’t been tested around toddlers. We are working on potty training and she is almost there! If you are the outgoing type and want a dog to go places with you, you need this guy! Chi is a social butterfly! He is super social, playful, affectionate and so immediately trusting of everyone. He certainly makes an entrance everywhere he goes. Not just his cute stature with those little short legs (a little bit of Dachshund in him, perhaps?) but his exuberance will certainly catch your attention. He’s a ‘hey, look at me’ kinda guy 😊Chi is very much motivated by food and treats. Show him a treat and he’ll do anything. No guarding of food observed, though. Outside, Chi-Chi loves his walks. He pulls just a tad because he can’t get to Point B fast enough, but he will settle into a nice walk. He tends to wander off on his walks, so best to keep him on a leash. Chi loves all dogs. All dogs are friends. No dogs? No problem. Toss Chi a ball and he will go to town!! He self entertains. He likes to kick around a ball (especially the bouncy ones or those that make a sound as they roll). He gets mad when the ball stops rolling. Chi certainly has a little David Beckham in him

He was rescued by a Good Samaritan about a year ago, and while his life before that is a mystery, his future is looking bright! He’s currently thriving in foster care and proving he’s got a heart as big as the Pride Lands. The "Roar": True to his breed, Simba likes to make sure everyone knows he’s coming! He can be a bit vocal on walks (he's just practicing his roar), but don't let the noise fool you—he is dog-friendly and gets along great with his peers. Romeo was a stray found in Cleveland. He came to us with another Chi that may be his brother. He was very scared and nippy when he first got here but is learning to like pets and "dances" when you scratch his rear. He still needs time to get to trust people but with just getting fixed, and the progress he has made thus far, he will turn out to be a great addition to an adult only household. He is 7 lbs and we think around 2 years old.
