Tootsie is almost a year and a half old. She is energetic and loves to be outside. She is very friendly and loves attention. She occasionally still has accidents in the house, so will need someone that can patiently work with her on being house trained. She loves to play with her toys and take walks outside. She would do well with an active family, that would include her in their activities and/or have a fenced in yard so she can be outside frequently. She is loving, affectionate and is spayed and mico-chipped.

Coco loves her walks and will even tell her foster mom when it’s walk time! This little Chihuahua mix is happy to nap on the couch or go for a long walk - as long as she’s with her person. She does well with her foster cat siblings. She is good with respectful older kids but hasn’t been tested around toddlers. We are working on potty training and she is almost there! Story
This is Bootsie, a 9-year-old sweetheart looking for her forever home. She’s house trained, leash-ready, and loves affection from her favorite people.  Bootsie does well with other dogs who are not confrontational.   She is very food motivated.  She weighs just under 20lbs.  Bootsie has some sensitivity around being handled — she’s not comfortable being picked up or touched on her back and sides — so she’s best suited for an adult-only home and having a fenced in yard would be best for her to go in and out on her own.  When she does need to be handled beyond what she’s comfortable with, her foster slips on a small muzzle and is able to handle her without her acting out.  We are continuing to work with her to get her more comfortable around being handled. With patience and understanding, she’ll reward her forever family with endless loyalty. Bootsie has a mass on her shoulder.  It was needle aspirated at the vet and determined to be benign; it is being monitored for any changes in size. Bootsie is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. Bootsie's adoption fee is $150. Interested in adopting Bootsie? Sadie is about 13 years old. I believe she is a chihuahua-pug mix, perhaps also with some beagle & other breeds. Sadie loves people and is happy to meet new human friends, but she does not like young children so needs to be in a home with pre-teens, teenagers, or no children. She also does not like anyone invading her personal space around her face. Sadie enjoys walks, car rides, and adventures; she is starting to slow down on walks though. She has seen a vet annually to maintain her vaccinations and health checkups. She does have occasional anal gland issues; I give her Vetnique Glandex Anal Gland Soft Chew Treats (cut up & mixed in her kibble). She also gets itchy; I give her Native Pet Dog Allergy Chews (cut up & mixed in her kibble).Sadie is reactive towards other dogs. She lives with cats but does not like them getting close to her.

Meet Papi This 3-year-old Chihuahua mix has been through a big life change after losing his previous owner, and he’s still trying to figure out the world around him. Everything feels a little overwhelming right now, so Papi is looking for someone patient and understanding to help him feel safe again. He can be a bit unsure and isn’t a fan of being picked up—he prefers to keep all four paws on the ground, thank you very much! Papi also has a touch of that classic “little dog syndrome,” letting you know how he feels when he’s uncomfortable. But underneath it all is a loyal little guy who just needs time, consistency, and gentle guidance. With patience and love, Papi has so much potential to blossom into a devoted companion. He’s searching for a calm home where he can build trust at his own pace and finally feel secure again.
