Meet Punkin Don’t let the tiny size fool you, Punkin has a big personality packed into her little 2-year-old Chihuahua body. This sweet girl loves being close to her people and will happily claim the coziest spot on the couch (or your lap!) as her throne. Her expressive little face and adorable ears make it impossible not to smile when she’s around. If you’re looking for a tiny best friend with a big heart, Punkin might just be your girl. Punkin lives with another dog and cat in her foster home. We are unsure how she will do around kids because she has not been exposed to them yet. Punkin will require a family with a fenced in yard within 45 miles of Toledo, Ohio. Due to high volume, inquiries made on petfinder and adoptapet will not be answered. If you are the outgoing type and want a dog to go places with you, you need this guy! Chi is a social butterfly! He is super social, playful, affectionate and so immediately trusting of everyone. He certainly makes an entrance everywhere he goes. Not just his cute stature with those little short legs (a little bit of Dachshund in him, perhaps?) but his exuberance will certainly catch your attention. He’s a ‘hey, look at me’ kinda guy 😊Chi is very much motivated by food and treats. Show him a treat and he’ll do anything. No guarding of food observed, though. Outside, Chi-Chi loves his walks. He pulls just a tad because he can’t get to Point B fast enough, but he will settle into a nice walk. He tends to wander off on his walks, so best to keep him on a leash. Chi loves all dogs. All dogs are friends. No dogs? No problem. Toss Chi a ball and he will go to town!! He self entertains. He likes to kick around a ball (especially the bouncy ones or those that make a sound as they roll). He gets mad when the ball stops rolling. Chi certainly has a little David Beckham in him

Meet Cleo! Cleo is a 10-year-old Chihuahua–Miniature Pinscher mix weighing about 12 pounds — the perfect little companion for your lap and your heart. This sweet girl was surrendered to our local shelter and is now safe in foster care, waiting patiently for her forever home. Cleo is a total lovebug who just wants to be cuddled and adored. She listens well, loves to snuggle in your lap, and has a calm, gentle nature that makes her a joy to have around. She currently lives with other dogs and does very well with them. She hasn’t lived with cats or children, so we’re not sure how she would do, but her sweet temperament suggests she might adjust well with proper introductions. Cleo is a smart little lady who already knows a few commands such as “come,” “no,” and “leave it.” She hasn’t used a crate in her foster home and has had very few potty accidents — she’s doing great with her house manners! Cleo would fit beautifully in almost any home — whether you’re a single person looking for a loyal companion or a family wanting a gentle, affectionate addition. She can be a little vocal when meeting new people (she likes to say hello in her own way!) but quickly warms up once she knows she’s among friends. Although a fenced yard is preferred, it’s not a dealbreaker for this little lady — what she really needs is someone who will love her, keep her safe, and make her feel like part of the family. If you’re looking for a loyal little sweetheart to share your days and your couch with, Cleo is ready to steal your heart and snuggle right into your life. ??
