Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

🐾 Meet Baby Face Nelson! 🐾Baby Face Nelson is one of the brave 13 dogs rescued from a hoarding situation in a neighboring county. These tough little survivors spent their days outside, waiting for food and water to arrive, sharing a small pen with 11 other dogs. 🌧️ For that reason, we named them after famous tough guys and gals!Despite his past, Baby Face Nelson is a sweet boy with a friendly demeanor around new people. He’s eager to connect and is very social with people but he may still need time to understand he’s safe and loved. 💖Baby Face Nelson will need help with leash training, housebreaking, and socializing with new people. Thankfully we have found out that the dogs from this group who were able to be fostered have adapted to inside living quickly and did well with housetraining.🦴 After living with so many dogs, he’s likely to get along well with most pups, but he might be a little fearful of larger dogs at first. Cats and kids? We recommend a week-long foster-to-adopt trial to ensure it’s a good fit. Since Lucky Luciano hasn’t lived with children before, we suggest homes with kids aged 5 and up, and it’s important for any kids in the home to meet him before adoption.Give Baby Face Nelson the loving home she deserves and watch him blossom! 🏡✨Baby Face Nelson is estimated to be around 6 months old. He is thought to be a mix of chihuahua and Terrier. Baby Face Nelson weighs 14 lbs and may get a bit bigger before he is full grown. Baby Face Nelson is vaccinated, flea & tick treated, microchipped, and will be scheduled for his neuter. Baby Face Nelson's adoption fee is $300. NICKY and BUBBLES have lost their home and human due to medical reasons. We promised the owner we would keep them together! And Bubbles is Nicky’s best friend! Bubbles is an exceptionally handsome fella. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and declawed. And you can see very beautiful and a super sweet guy. Nicky is approximately 4-5 years old and a 10 pound Chihuahua. He is neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed. We are Looking for a home with NO KIDS or OTHER DOGS! They will be ok with other cats. We need someone who is experienced with Chihuahuas. Nicky needs a lot of time to warm up to new people. Whomever adopts this pair will need to make multiple visits to the shelter to let Nicky adjust to you. Adoption fees do apply.
