Story
Are you searching for a petite girl with big opinions? Meet Piper! Piper was born around February of 2024, and found herself at the local shelter. Since leaving the shelter, she has blossomed from a trembling skeleton to a sassy athlete. Piper loves to play and hang out with her dog friends, as well as cuddle with her humans. She bosses the big dogs around, and has no problem keeping up with them. Piper is crate trained, and sleeps in her crate at night. She is still working on potty training, and absolutely hates going outside when it's cold or rainy. Piper requires a family within 30 miles of Toledo. She could live in a multi-dog home with a yard, or an apartment with daily walks. Due to high volume, inquiries made on petfinder and adoptapet will not be answered. Story
In true chihuahua fashion, she will need a good adjustment period and in the meantime will keep you at full attention wondering what she’s up to, really it’s just an act. She’s the sweetest once she gets to know you. Don’t apply unless you are ready to roll with it for a few days, lol. She’s a smart bossy little sweetheart.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Loda is a little dog with a big personality. She likes to be near her human and would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She is jealous and territorial. She doesn't seem to care much about the resident cat. Loda would prefer a quiet home where she can be the queen of the castle!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. What can you say about Peanut? He is a devoted loving dog - house broken - gets along well with other dogs - not so well with cats. He loves to watch the fish swim in their aquariums - loves his treats. Peanut does get very jealous sometimes if you pay more attention to somebody else. He's all around a very good dog. Peanuts adoption fee is discounted. Apply for details!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Mason & Dixon are bonded brothers and must be adopted together. The adoption fee for both is $550.00.Mason and Dixon are purebred Long-coat Chihuahuas, born on September 20, 2017. Mason is a brindleand Dixon is black and white. Although they are litter-mates, they have very different personalities.Mason is loving and wants approval from everyone, while Dixon is headstrong and very protective. Ittakes him some time to warm up to people. They do not readily accept other dogs – they generally ignorethem. They are not accustomed to cats, and think they should be chased. Once you get to know Dixon, heis very loving also, it just takes time. Dixon is the barker, very protective of his people/territory. Mason isa runner if he gets off his leash. They are very food driven, especially Dixon. He will steal any unguarded food. They currently live with two senior chihuahuas. They have been very well cared for: nails, grooming, brushing, vet visits, heart worm meds with flea and tick added - Simparica Trio. They have been well loved and have had very few other people in their lives. They will adapt, but will need time and understanding. They love going out and having people fuss over them, in that respect they are social. They respond well to being loved and petted.LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY!
