Story
Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm! Meet Freddie, the 2-year-old, 29lb Chihuahua-Terrier mix, affectionately known by his foster family as Noodle Boy, Frederick of Hollywood, Freddie Boy, Long Boi, Noodle, and Mr. Chocolate Face! Freddie was rescued from a rural shelter, and he's been stealing hearts ever since with his sweetness and playful spirit. Freddie loves romping around the yard with his foster dog siblings and is always up for a run. He's learning his leash manners quickly, and he's eager to impress. He's a sharp little learner who already knows several commands, and he's scoring high marks in potty training - an impressive 85/100! At home, Freddie is the ultimate cuddle buddy. He adores cozying up on his foster parents' laps and snuggling under the blankets at night. Freddie would do well as a solo pup in a home full of loving humans or with a dog buddy to keep him company. Though he enjoys his walks, his true happiness shines in a fenced yard where he can stretch those legs and play to his heart's content. This charming "Long Boi is ready to find his forever family who will love him as much as he'll surely love them! Freddie is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $275.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm! Hello, world! Meet Mothman! Unlike real Mothman, our Mothman is happy to meet you! Mothman is a 2-year-old, 19-lbs, Chihuahua mix who would love nothing more than a long walk followed up by a night of snuggles! Mothman loves to play, but he also loves to cuddle and give very gentle kisses to his favorite humans. He is a very well-rounded pup! Mothman loves to play outside. He loves to play with the leaves, trees, and bumblebees! Mothman also loves to play with his foster dog siblings outside. If his foster dog siblings aren't with him, he even loves to try to play with the neighbor's dogs and will run up and down the fence to see them! Mothman also does well on a leash and actually really loves to go on walks. It should be noted that Mothman is still working on proper leash etiquette (he likes to greet people and track squirrels), but with continued proper training, Mothman will be the best walking / jogging companion! Mothman may play hard outside, but when he is inside, he loves to cuddle and be his foster parents little baby. Mothman was a little scared of his fosters at first and seems to react to most humans this way at first, but after a day or so he will realize his family isn't evil and then he will be jumping in your lap in no time! Mothman really loves to be the little pampered baby! As a bonus, he doesn't get jealous of other animals wanting to also cuddle, and he loves to give his humans the sweetest, most gentle kisses! Mothman is good with cats, dogs, and most humans! He doesn't live with children, but he does enjoy the neighborhood kids. Mothman actually really likes cats, but not all cats like to play with him. Mothman seems to really like other dogs, but all of the dogs in his life are currently his size or smaller. Mothman may need a slower introduction to a bigger dog, but he would likely be fine after a few days! Mothman is also housetrained and crate trained. Aside from some reactivity on the leash, Mothman is also super quiet and never complains! Mothman is such a good boy! If you are looking for a versatile, fun-loving doggo, then consider applying for Mothman today! Mothman is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. His adoption fee is $275.00. Story
Update 7/12/2024: Sharky has finally learned how to be a dog. He plays with his foster brothers and sisters, he jumps around and gets excited when his foster parents come home, He does still get scared over loud noises I.e. thunderstorms that rock the house, Fireworks so during those times he will need a blanket and somewhere to hide close to you. He still doesn't really like being picked up but rolls over to get belly rubs. He is crate trained and has been doing well outdoor potty, for those times that might be missed he is potty pad trained. He is very much ready for his future adventures with a great family that has older kids that know boundaries because he is very scared of children due to how he was allowed to be treated by them. He is a great companion to go on short distance walks, and watch tv next to his favorite person. He likes to sleep in the bed with his foster but does not crowd her out. UPDATE 11/21: He is so sweet and just needs an understanding parent. He needs a quiet home with a physical fenced in yard due to fear. NO KIDS, he is terrified of them. His fosters have figured out how he is okay with getting picked up so he can be picked up now (big improvement). He enjoys the kisses his foster mom gives him on his neck, every chance he gets he will go to her reach out his head to expose his neck wanting kisses. He has made huge milestones while being with his fosters he knows how to dog now YAY! He is crate trained. Sharky was a stray at a shelter in IN. when we pulled him. He has not had a good beginning or treated properly. He is terrified of being picked up or having his neck touched. Overall, he is so sweet with a charming underbite. After a couple of weeks, I can now slowly pick him up talking to him the whole time. I do avoid touching his neck right now, however he did tolerate a harness. WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Milton - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey all you fabulous folks out there, I'm here in search of a home, a family...one I can say is ALL mine!! Since you're reading this, I'm hoping it could be with YOU!! I am around 8 years old and came from a hoarding situation (100 dogs all in a small house) with some other pups where our living situation wasn't very good. I am so appreciative of all the little things that most dogs take for granted. A kind word, a gentle pet, a soft bed, some tasty treats!! I am so very loving, coming for some pets every chance I get and my favorites are ear scratches and belly rubs. I would probably do best in a quieter home where my person(s) work from home or are retired.! I do great with people once I get to know them but would probably do best in a home with just older kiddos. I do wonderfully with the other dogs in my foster home from big to smaller and also the resident kitty. I'm also crate and house trained so if you add in my chill easy going personality I would make a great companion pup for your family. I'd even be great for a first time pet parent!! I get so excited to see you when you get home even if it was just to get the mail!! I don't really play too much with toys but I do love snuggling on a soft blanket! I will also be your lil shadow, following wherever you go...that lil heartbeat at your feet! If you would like a BFF to help you with your errand runs, a constant in your life to share in your joys and sorrows...oh my, I AM your boy!!!! I come in at about 15lbs of pure love ready to unleash it ALL on you. If you think we could be a perfect match please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application.
