Are you the type of person that likes to give sweet older pups a chance they might otherwise not get? Sweetie loves attention and will happily help you out by guarding the door of the bathroom from the inside. However, she can also be quite the independent little lady and doesn’t need to be a velcro dog… unless you want her to be! Sweetie can be a little bossy with her dog friends (part of why we think she’s mixed with chihuahua!) but generally gets along well with everyone. Sweetie is a beauty but would benefit from a little tough love when it comes to feeding and giving out treats and a little more activity in her day. A physically fenced yard is required. Sweetie is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio. They enjoy snuggling under blankets and showering you and each other with kisses.Nana is a little more shy at first but warms up quickly. She keeps Poppy in line with her nurturing personality. These cuties are estimated to be about 4-5 months old and appear to be a playful mix of pug, beagle and Chihuahua. They were found as strays so this is our best guess. I have not been around cats or kids to know how I would do around them yet. I am house trained and am working on crate training, and because my crate still makes a little nervous, I would prefer to be confined to a small, safe space like a laundry room or kitchen while you’re gone for the workday. I am learning to walk on my leash too. I am still a little nervous when there are too many sounds, but when I do an early morning walk and it's quiet my foster mom says I do really well. I seem to learn best when I am around other dogs (I really like to play with my fur siblings), so I would thrive really well in a home with another dog. One of my favorite things to do is play and get my young dog energy out. I love cheese and bones and I really enjoy cuddling. I also like to lounge around, go to the park and take my calm walks. I cannot wait to find my very own active family who will give me all the love and attention I deserve and who will be patient with me as I learn what being a dog means. Meet Autumn!This sweet, small, 10 lb Pomeranian girl came to us from a Puppy Mill. After spending her whole 6 years of life in a cage being used for breeding, Autumn is ready for her next chapter! Despite her rough start, Autumn is very friendly and social! She LOVES being with her person! This girl does ok with other dogs once she warms up to them, but would also be fine as an only dog. She has met cats and even chickens without issue!  Due to her small size we recommend any children in the home be over 10 years old.  Autumn is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped and had a recent dental! She is also crate trained and doing great with house breaking! If you have room on your lap and in your heart, we have no doubt Autumn would be a wonderful companion!
