Story
Bambino is full of energy, great with kids and genuinely just loves everyone and all other creatures. He's highly curious and trainable. He loves to run, so a fenced yard would be ideal for him but not a must. I'm looking for a new home for him because my and I both are in the peak of our careers and have little time. He is kennel trained while we are away and sometimes prefers the kennel at night so he knows it's not play time and can rest. We've been feeling guilty about not being able to give him the time, energy, and dedication that he deserves. He is 2 years old, does pretty well being house trained, but needs reminders. He is registered pure breed long hair chihuahua. Up to date on vaccines and I have all of his paperwork. Originally paid $2000, the rehoming fee is negotiable, but trying to offset the costs of vaccs and boarding costs the past couple months for him while we travel for work. Reach out to me with any questions.

Story
RCHS does not conduct DNA tests on dogs who enter our facility therefore we are unable to guarantee breed or breed mix. Information provided by shelter staff, volunteers, and veterinarians is used to give a best estimate as to a dog’s breed make up. We do our best to inform adopters about the potential breeds for each dog.We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

Story
SWIFTY is the cuddliest little nugget. He's a 2ish year old year old 11 lb. chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund) type mixed breed boy. He was a stray in a rural area and was difficult to catch, which is how he got the name Swifty. This little guy is a world-class cuddler and gets completely blissed out over belly rubs. Swifty takes a few minutes to warm up to new people but once he trusts you it's a love connection. So far Swifty has no interest in the other dogs in his foster home. We expect he'd be perfectly happy to live life as an only dog. He loves to be carried and cuddled and loves his toys. He is housebroken and fine in his crate but wants to be with you at all times. If you'd like to meet Swifty, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Story
Playful Teddy loves the ladies-and his favorite toys Chickie and Fuzzy. He plays fetch and even plays joyfully by himself. He obeys lots of commands : come/or clap your hands, sit, lie down, stay, leave it, wait (at the door or food bowl), to avoid rushing out. He is a 4 year old beagle/chihuahua, so he loves hunting in the yard, is a great mouser, and has an adorable little high-pitched howl that always makes me laugh. He does zoomies. He lets you know that there is someone near your house, but can stop barking when you go to check them out and tell him ok. He is afraid of men and it takes a long time to accept a man, which can be done by walking along with his lady owner. I got him a year ago, before I met a special man in my life. He does not warm up fully to my partner, and thus the reason to move him to an all female household. He gets along with my low-key elderly dog, and engages her in play and takes walks with her and I. He is reactive with high-strung dogs. Kids/cats?

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Meet Khloe! UPDATE:  Dec 17, 2024 Khloe would love to find her forever home for the holidays!  This amazing, sweet girl has really turned a corner, she is trusting her foster parents more, she will come to them, sit by them and even let them give her chin scratches.     She loves playing with toys and her foster siblings.     Khloe is looking for a patient person who will give her time to trust them but will be the best little buddy ever!  Original post:This little cutie hasn’t had the best start in life but she’s ready to find her person and/or forever family.   Khloe came from a bad hoarding situation,  this sweet girl had never been outside until she came into foster care. She is ~ 22 months old, 11.4 lbs, UTD on vaccines and spayed. Khloe needs a very patient person.  She is still very scared and takes a while to warm up to you.  She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and LOVES playing with toys and her foster siblings.  Khloe is still terrified to go outside but she is pee pad and kennel trained.  She will need a kennel of some sort, this is her safe space where she feels comfortable.  Khloe will not immediately warm up to you and will take time to get comfortable and trust you.  She has slowly started letting her foster parents touch her and take treats from their hands. She gets very excited and acts like she wants to be petted but just not quite sure yet.   This little one will need a lot of patience, love, and understanding.  She has been through a lot but is healing and getting more trustful everyday.  She is a sweet pup who deserves to find a loving home. Are you that special person Khloe needs to live her best life?  Adoption fee $275Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 17, 2024, 8:49 am

Story
🐾 Meet Bugs Moran 🐾👑 The Old SoulBugs Moran is the oldest of the 13 dogs we rescued from a hoarding situation, and this distinguished senior is around 10+ years old. Despite being blind, his spirit hasn’t dimmed a bit, and he’s overflowing with love for people! ❤️🐶Findings from his foster home include-he does get along with other dogs but prefers them to not try and play with him. He's older and he's blind so he gets nervous when dogs try to play with him. They do feed him separately, so he never feels he is in competition for his food anymore. Bugs Moran barks when he knows you are close, but he can't find you out of excitement and probably a little frustration that he can't find you. He does sleep quietly every night and spends most of his day snuggled up on a dog bed or playing with dog toys. He loves greenie chews. Due to his barking, and it's loud, we do not recommend him for any kind of home living where you share walls with other tenants. 🚶 Leash-Trained ExplorerBugs is one-of-a-kind—he’s the only dog from his group who is leash-trained, and he loves his walks. He gets around just fine, though he may bump into things now and then. 🌳🐾🐩 Possible Pomeranian-Poodle MixWith his ginger coat and silvered face, Bugs might be a charming Pomeranian and Poodle mix. He’s a little fluffball at 21 lbs, quiet until he hears you nearby—then, his excitement bubbles up, and he can’t help but let out a bark or two! 🧡🎉🚽 House Training NeedsBeing that Bugs Moran has not been neutered yet, so he still wants to mark in the home. Thankfully belly bands are an easy solution as he waits for his neuter appointment. As he has scent has naturally been added to his foster home from living there his marking is getting less and less. 🏠💧 He is house trained though, he never potties in the home ever. Marking is a separate issue from peeing in the house. 👨‍👩‍👧 Best FitBugs Moran would thrive in a quiet, loving home with children 12+ and calm, gentle dogs. Since he was previously kept separate from the other dogs, he’s not a fan of young pups who bark or jump, as he can’t see them coming. 🐾🚫🌅 Retirement DreamBugs Moran is more than ready for his well-deserved retirement home, where he’ll finally get the love and peace he deserves. Let’s help this resilient senior find his perfect family! 🛋️💙 Bugs Moran may be an older gentleman but he's still pretty active and can easily trip a person up and wrap around them with his leash. Bugs Moran's adoption fee is $150, he is vaccinated, flea & tick treated, microchipped, tested negative for heartworm and Lyme and will be neutered on Friday, Nov. 8th. You can apply online for him at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sr2794&method=online_form_html&formid=21BUGS MORAN IS IN A FOSTER HOME SO AN APPOINTMENT WILL NEED TO BE MADE TO MEET HIM.
