Their sibling, Cowen, has since been adopted and is thriving! Caitiona and Kaelyn are gentle, loving, and beginning to come out of their shells. While they are good friends, they are not bonded and will do best in separate homes where they can truly shine. 🐶 Age: ~2 years ⚖️ Perfect size! Adorable SNOWFLAKE is little Miss Fun. She's also a world class cuddler. Snowflake is a 9ish month old 11 pound mixed breed puppy. Snowflake is full of puppy energy and loves to run and play with her foster siblings. When playtime is over, she's ready for a good cuddle with whoever is available -- dogs, cats, humans of all ages, she loves everyone! She loves to give kisses too! Snowflake needs an active home where she will get plenty of playtime. She also needs a well stocked toy basket and a doggie playmate who can match her playful energy. Snowflake's breed mix is a mystery. Our best guesses are chihuahua, pug, maybe some Boston terrier and rat terrier. But those are just guesses, she's a perfect candidate for a DNA test! She has the most adorable little underbite. Snowflake is fully grown but we expect she will add a few pounds still as she builds up her strength after being undernourished when she arrived. Snowflake is housebroken, crate trained and so much fun. If you'd like to meet Snowflake, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Oreo was found living in an open 4X6 pen where he had spent the entire 14 years of his life. He had never been inside or to a vet until we rescued him. He is very sweet and a lovebug. He has not had any accidents in the house, great with cats, dogs, and kids and walks very nicely on a leash! He has damage to his eyes from exposure and will need to be on eye drops to lubricate his eyes the rest of his life as his eyes no longer produce tears. He is going to have a dental as his teeth are horrible poor guy! He is also overweight and will need to be on a healthy weight dog food.
