This is a double adoption. Taco and his brother Cinco will go together or not at all. Taco and his brother Cinco came to me in October when my mother suddenly passed away. Taco and Cinco were the light of my mother's world. She loved them so much. With nowhere else for them to go in the short term, I took them in. However, living with me is not ideal. I live alone and work 12-hour shifts, so unfortunately, they are penned up for 13 hours at a time some days. Taco is 13 years old. He loves to chase a tennis ball. He also loves to curl up and cuddle right next to you; however, he is not a Velcro dog. He is good with cats and other dogs. It is unknown how he is with children. Unfortunately, Taco is not housebroken. If you take him outside, he will do his business out there; however, he will not ask or wait to go out. If you are diligent in taking him out every couple of hours, there shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Lily is adorable and wonderful. Lately, she has gotten increasingly scared of sounds in the apartment I live in. I feel like Ive done everything I can to help her feel comfortable and she doesnt seem to feel safe. She sleeps fine one minute, then the next a draft in the sliding glass door whistles or maybe the traffic on the city street proves too much for her. I cant afford a better place right now and working more. She needs a loving home and shell shine because she has a great personality and listens well. She will miss me, but Im confident she will become close to anyone who shows her love and values her as part of their family. She deserves better than my living conditions can give her. If youre unwilling to make her a priority, dont waste your time replying. She has never been caged, but knows her bed (a dog cage) and uses it as a refuge when shes scared. She loves sleeping in your bed and anything less is unacceptable. She will enhance your life. She is also very quiet.

Peanut is a 10-pound, 2-year-old Chihuahua mix looking for her forever home. This little sweet thing is a wild child and displays many puppy-like behaviors. She is working on potty and crate training, gets into things she shouldn't, chews on items left out within reach of her mouth, and wants to play play play, go go go. She follows her humans from room to room, getting underfoot, so is not ideal for those with balance issues as she may trip them. She is great with kids and very friendly with other dogs but has not been around cats. Since Peanut chews things she should not, she must be crated when left home alone but is not a fan of crating and will sing the songs of her people when left behind. For this reason, she is not a candidate for those who live in apartments or homes with shared walls. When it is finally time to settle in, after playing and chewing and chasing and being a busy body, Peanut will snuggle in with her people for a recharge before the fun starts again. She may be little, but she is mighty, and is looking for a young family who can match her energy. If this is you, please fill out an application to meet Peanut ASAP! All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. I’m a huge fan of all kinds of toys, so I hope you’ll have lots of balls, chew toys, and stuffies for me to play with. I love playing with dogs of all sizes… big or small, I don’t discriminate! I get along with kids and cats, too. I’m only 8 months old, so I’ll need a family who will continue to help me learn to go potty outside and walk on a leash. I like being vocal when I’m in my crate, but I don’t have any accidents in there while you’re gone. Cold weather is the worst thing ever but cuddling all nice and cozy on your lap is my favorite activity!
