This is a double adoption. Taco and his brother Cinco will go together or not at all. Taco and his brother Cinco came to me in October when my mother suddenly passed away. Taco and Cinco were the light of my mother's world. She loved them so much. With nowhere else for them to go in the short term, I took them in. However, living with me is not ideal. I live alone and work 12-hour shifts, so unfortunately, they are penned up for 13 hours at a time some days. Taco is 13 years old. He loves to chase a tennis ball. He also loves to curl up and cuddle right next to you; however, he is not a Velcro dog. He is good with cats and other dogs. It is unknown how he is with children. Unfortunately, Taco is not housebroken. If you take him outside, he will do his business out there; however, he will not ask or wait to go out. If you are diligent in taking him out every couple of hours, there shouldn't be too much of an issue.

This is a double adoption. Cinco and his brother Taco will go together or not at all. Cinco and his brother Taco came to me in October when my mother suddenly passed away. Say Hello To Our New Arrival! This sweet dog has just joined us, and we're thrilled to welcome them to our care. Right now, we’re in the process of getting to know them better and will share pictures as soon as we can. We’re taking the time to assess their health and personality to ensure we can find the perfect forever home when the time comes. At this stage, this dog is not available for adoption or a meet and greet, but we’re hopeful they’ll be ready to find their new family soon. Are you looking for your pocket princess to be your forever loyal companion? Then come meet our new Chihuahua, Nellie! Nellie is a 4 year old, healthy gal who loves everyone who passes her kennel! She is a real people dog, and loves to be held and cuddled. She enjoys the fluffy beds and blankets in her kennel but is always ready to go outside for a walk and pets. Chihuahuas are know for their loyalty, and sometimes are reluctant with new people, but not Nellie! She is the best mix of a loyal dog but friendly with all the volunteers so far. If you’d like to add this small dog with the biggest joy and sweetness to your family, come see her asap! And if there is a dog in her new home already, a meet and greet is required.

Walnut ' Wally' 1yr Male 14 pounds Sweet nervous guy who takes a minute to warm up but truly wants/ likes human affection. Crate trained, doing well on housebreaking. Haven't seen around cats or kids ( but would guess little kids would not be a good match) This animal is current on all age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed/neutered or will go home with an already scheduled appointment. Meet Buzzard (aka Buzzy)! This almost 1-year-old, 13-pound chihuahua mix is a sweet but cautious little guy. Buzzy came from a hoarding situation, so he takes his time to warm up to new people and environments. Once he feels comfortable, though, he’s all about giving kisses! Buzzy loves other dogs, no matter their size. His current cuddle buddy is an 80-pound dog! A home with a friendly dog companion and a secure fenced yard would be the perfect match for him. He’s making great progress with housebreaking and is crate-trained, but he still has some puppy behaviors, like chewing on shoes and paper, so he'll need an adopter who is patient and ready to help him continue learning. Buzzy hasn't met kids or cats, and because he’s unsure about loud noises and fast movements, a home with older children or no children is best.
