This is Buddy, a 5-year-old Chihuahua mix who’s full of personality, loyalty, and love. He may be small (16#), but he takes his role as protector very seriously—especially when it comes to his favorite person! If the other dogs get a little too rambunctious around you, Buddy might let out a little growl just to let them know who’s in charge. It’s just part of his charm. Buddy lives for his monthly trip to the groomer—affectionately known as the beauty shop. He gets so excited, he practically jumps out of your arms when he arrives! Clean, cute, and proud of it. When he’s not keeping watch or enjoying a spa day, Buddy is happily chewing on a hard toy or gnawing on a bone. He’s a content little guy who thrives in a home where he feels safe, loved, and part of the routine. Adoption is $300 which includes his neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. Dexter and Sophie came to us as owner surrenders when their owner could no longer care for them. They are the sweetest little pair of bonded seniors looking for a soft landing! Dexter is an 11 year old Chihuahua (4 lbs) and Sophie is a 12 year old Chi/terrier mix (6 lb). Dex is your typical chi, can be a little shy at first, and loves his clothing! Sophie is a giant cuddle bug and just wants to be with her people! These two need a person who can be patient with them, as their world was turned upside down! A fenced yard would be a bonus for exploring and working on their potty training refresher! There were far too many children(6) to pick on me. I've been with my foster mom for a year now and I think we have a few things straightened out, regarding what kind of a home I need. I need an off the grid owner. Do you growl at children? I getcha. Nothing wrong with that, as long as you stay away from the little monsters. Are you a private person,me too. I'm currently living in a quiet country home with a fenced yard where I can expend some energy chasing the squirrels. We have a routine and infrequent visitors. There are other little dogs here and we get along fine, but I do not like strange dogs and would be best as an only pet. I like to play with squeaky toys, rope toys and nyla bones, am reliably house and crate trained and love to ride in the car and snuggle with foster mom when our day is done. I will be 3 years old soon, weigh 19.5 lbs. and have the cutest underbite. I am healthy, low maintenance, caught up on all my vaccinations and heart worm negative. I am VERY REACTIVE to new people and situations(stranger danger) and will bark and show fear aggression. I can be worked through this, if you have experience at socializing reactive dogs. It will be a work in progress to help me. IF YOU HAVE A QUIET HOME, WITH NO CLOSE NEIGHBORS OR CHILDREN, we could be best friends. I would love my very own human being buddy. Both dogs are males. Would like to see them stay together as they have been lifetime companions. They came from a farm in Marietta Ohio. These are my dad's dogs but he has since passed. Ive tried feverishly to rehome them with no luck. Noone in the family can take them. Dad has had them about 3 years. Their names are Buddy with brendle markings and Bear is tan with some white. Once they warm up to a person they are very lovey dovey. I believe them to be around 5 years old. Not sure how they would be around kids, that is unknown. Cage and any leftover food will accompany the boys. Please help, in desperate situation. Thank you

I love me some Nacho! If you like them sweet and spicy, you gotta meet Mr Nacho Man! He is always so very happy to see his humans. Arms outstretched, wants to be picked up for hugs and cuddles right away. If you are a little slow in fulfilling that request, he tippy taps on his back legs as if to say, ‘hurry up already!’😊Nacho is such a joy to have around. He loves to be held and carried around. He loves it even more when you pet him as you hold him and tell him what a sweet and good boy he is. Nacho is wonderful with dogs. He plays well with dogs his size or a little bigger. He likes to run and play chase with a buddy. The occasional wrestle is fine by him too 😊That is the sweet Nacho. Now, the spicy Nacho can hold a grudge. Well, for like 5 minutes. For example, he hates nail trims. If you try to trim his nail, he will hiss at you. It doesn't matter that you stop immediately and try to comfort it. He remembers what you tried to do. He will hiss even if you try to hold him to make amends. Best to leave him be to ‘cool off’. He will come running back to you once he gets over it. What they say about Chihuahuas having a sassy attitude. All true! Nacho is a year old, 10lb and looking for a home where he can be a companion to a human. Pampered, going places, that’s all on his must-have list. A doggie friend is a plus.
