There are other little dogs here and we get along fine, but I do not like strange dogs and would be best as an only pet. I like to play with squeaky toys, rope toys and nyla bones, am reliably house and crate trained and love to ride in the car and snuggle with foster mom when our day is done. I will be 3 years old soon, weigh 23 lbs. and have the cutest underbite. I am healthy, low maintenance, caught up on all my vaccinations and heart worm negative. I am VERY REACTIVE to new people and situations(stranger danger) and will bark and show fear aggression. I can be worked through this, if you have experience at socializing reactive dogs. This is a double adoption. Taco and his brother Cinco will go together or not at all. Taco and his brother Cinco came to me in October when my mother suddenly passed away. Taco and Cinco were the light of my mother's world. She loved them so much. With nowhere else for them to go in the short term, I took them in. However, living with me is not ideal. I live alone and work 12-hour shifts, so unfortunately, they are penned up for 13 hours at a time some days. Taco is 13 years old. He loves to chase a tennis ball. He also loves to curl up and cuddle right next to you; however, he is not a Velcro dog. He is good with cats and other dogs. It is unknown how he is with children. Unfortunately, Taco is not housebroken. If you take him outside, he will do his business out there; however, he will not ask or wait to go out. If you are diligent in taking him out every couple of hours, there shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Lily is adorable and wonderful. Lately, she has gotten increasingly scared of sounds in the apartment I live in. I feel like Ive done everything I can to help her feel comfortable and she doesnt seem to feel safe. She sleeps fine one minute, then the next a draft in the sliding glass door whistles or maybe the traffic on the city street proves too much for her. I cant afford a better place right now and working more. She needs a loving home and shell shine because she has a great personality and listens well. She will miss me, but Im confident she will become close to anyone who shows her love and values her as part of their family. She deserves better than my living conditions can give her. If youre unwilling to make her a priority, dont waste your time replying. She has never been caged, but knows her bed (a dog cage) and uses it as a refuge when shes scared. She loves sleeping in your bed and anything less is unacceptable. She will enhance your life. She is also very quiet.
