Story
Introducing Sprout! This sweet little guy was born in October of 2023. He is 12 lbs, has beautiful rust colored fur, a few white markings and some cute scruffy hairs too!
Sprout LOVES to play- running zoomies, jumping and weaving. His foster mom thinks he would be a natural for flyball or agility. It's amazing how he can jump! Sprout is a very happy, joyful boy. He loves people. He is very high energy and loves to be active, yet also loves cuddling with his foster siblings and foster parents. He has lots of love and snuggles to give. Sprout loves squeaky toys, playing fetch, and chewing on yak chews. Sprout's nickname is "Baby Clamps," given to him adoringly by his foster parents. When he was a tiny baby, he would clamp on to things and not let go. He outgrew that, but the name stuck lol. He is very good at releasing things when asked, like if he has something in his mouth he isn't supposed to have. He's a very good boy and lets his foster parents take it. Sprout may do best with a canine companion. He is best friends with his foster siblings. He loves hanging out with them, playing with them, laying on them... You get the picture. Sprout would do best with a fenced-in yard, to allow him to run and play and use the bathroom. He loves his foster family's yard!
Sprout has done very well with potty training. He does, however, hesitate to go outside if the ground is wet or if it's raining. He probably learned that from his foster siblings.
Sprout is up to date on vaccines, HW Negative and on HW preventative. He was neutered in April 2024. He will be microchipped prior to adoption.

An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled.
Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.
Reference checks and a home visit are required so our southeast dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.
