Story
Scotty came to AATDR from a local CT pound where he'd been surrendered by his family. Don't let Scotty's age fool you - he's a happy, energetic little guy! He loves playtime with other dogs, and long walks and running around in the yard (a fenced yard would be great for him!). He also attaches strongly and quickly to his people, and is an absolute cuddle-bug once he does that. Scotty has a pretty typical chihuahua personality - anyone who has known or owned this breed and understands that personality potentially would be a great home for him. He's living in a foster home right now and loving life. This cutie pie absolutely deserves his very own forever family. If you live in CT and would like to be Scotty's family, please let us know!

Story
A few weeks ago we posted that we would be "baby sitting" Nemo for a few weeks until a spot in another rescue opened up. Well! His foster family says that he's totally settled in their home, they love him, he gets on GREAT with their 3 dogs, and he isn't going anywhere until he finds a forever home! ❤ He's a tripod and does have a seizure disorder which is easily managed with medication. Neither issue stands in his way of enjoying life! This little dog is so very loved by his foster family and we're absolutely delighted. He'd been with his previous owner for years and we're so happy he won't have to make another transition until he finds a new forever family! Nemo cuddles with his people, cuddles and plays with his canine companions in the home, and goes outside with them to do his business. He'd previously been using "pee pads" indoors, but Nemo has said no more of that, he wants to do what his doggy friends do! 🙂 We're so happy to be able to give Nemo his "soft landing" and make sure his future life is happy and bright! ❤ To adopt Nemo please fill out an application at our website: https://www.allaboutthedogsrescue.org/get-involved

Story
*Name: Chata *Age: 3 years old *Current Weight: 17 lbs *Rescued from: Texas (currently located with foster in Texas, transport will be scheduled once adopted.) *Adoption fee: $375 My family and I were found kept in a small cage exposed to the elements in Texas until we were welcomed into our wonderful foster home. My puppies have already found their furever homes, and now it's time for my mom, Emma, and me to find ours! Here's a bit about me: Crate and House-Trained: My foster mom says I'm such a good girl and well-trained. Cuddle Bug: I am a huge cuddle bug and love snuggling up any time of the day. Playful Spirit: I enjoy playing with my foster siblings. People Lover: I absolutely adore people and giving kisses is one of my favorite things to do. Friendly with Other Dogs: I get along well with other dogs, making me a great addition to any family with canine companions. Emma and I love to cuddle up with our human at the end of the day. I can't wait to snuggle up with my new family soon! I am looking for my perfect family. Could that be you? If you're ready for endless kisses, playful antics, and lots of snuggles, please fill out an application. I can't wait to meet my new family! To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILING All adoption fees are non-refundable If paying by credit card, Venmo, or PayPal there is a set processing fee, generally this fee is under $15 per pet. These processing fees are determined by the form of payment adopters decide to use. By helping with this minimal cost this allows us to save more animals. Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing: LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy's/dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog's medical records. SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. ** MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors. APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did NOT receive your application. ##1589428##

He loves treats.  He will do almost anything for a treat. He also loves to sit on your lap and get cuddled. Dawson loves his toys. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Adoption Application link: http://crest-care.net/forms.htm Fostered in Arizona, Adoption fee $195 Hi! I am Lucy, and I am a princess.  I love to cuddle under blankets, go for walks, play hard and eat.  I am very food motivated, so I am easy to train. Except I like to announce mealtimes in a loud voice so you do not forget to feed me.  I love to run and play with other dogs who are bold and energetic, but I am very demanding and domineering over shyer and older dogs.  With that in mind, I would prefer a home with no other dogs, or maybe one young, energetic one that I can run and play with.  I do have a current housemate who I love to wrestle with, but he isn’t available at this time.  Oh, the details.  I am a 10 pound almost three-year-old girl.  I am a Chinese Crested-Chihuahua mix with a few other random genes thrown in.  I have lovely short fur on my head, tail and feet, and some random hairs on my back.  I enjoy wearing clothes, but like any other wrestling girl, they suffer when I play.  I do get chilly, so I wear clothes most days and love to snuggle under blankets.  If you are under the blankets with me, so much the better for snuggling.  I do worry about my complexion, and I do have to constantly battle blackheads, but what is a girl to do!  I tolerate my weekly baths, and relax under the warm dryer.  My hair never needs brushing as my style is wash and wear.  I like to walk on a leash, especially if you take me to the beach.  I love to go to the dog park and run with all the dogs there.  I also like to bark at the big dogs, but because of my size I never go over to play with them.  But I really do love to run.  When you are not home, I will wait in my crate quietly waiting for your return.  When you get home, I won’t let you forget to release me.  I want to be out with you.  Currently, I do not like to sleep in the crate.  I prefer to sleep with my humans.  From her foster mom:  Lucille is an adorable Chinese Crested-Chihuahua dog.  She is usually quite obedient unless she is distracted by bossing other dogs around.  She is treat motivated and learns quickly.  She loves to be the one and only snuggler, she wants all the attention.  Lucy is house trained, but prefers to potty in the house if it is wet or cold outside. On those days I leash her up and walk her until she finishes her job.  Otherwise, she will leave you surprises.  She is up to date on all of her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and gets monthly flea treatment.  Questions email: crestcareinc@gmail.com  Adoption application: https://www.crestcare.net/forms/form?formid=2201 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Website: www.crest-care.netNovember 24, 2024, 9:32 am
