Story
Teddy was rescued from a college dorm. We have been fostering him for a bit now, and although he loves to plays with our 2 year old, it’s too overwhelming for our 2 year old and unfortunately we need to put an end date on our fostering of Teddy. Teddy is house trained, sweet, loving, and energetic. He will need to be neutered. He doesn’t bark unless someone is coming or going from the house, and then it only lasts a minute or less. He’s a very sweet boy, truly.

Story
Meet Alvin (12 pounds), a small senior boy looking for a home (and a hula hoop) for the holidays! Alvin can be slow to warm up to new people and tends to be picky about new friends in general. Once he is comfortable with you, be prepared to have a little shadow! With his buddies, Alvin loves to be doted on, held and petted (but please don’t assume he wants your friends to do the same). Since he can`t tell us exactly what his likes and dislikes are, we are looking for humans who can read his body language and advocate for him out in the world when needed. We think his ideal home would be on the quiet side, with adults or older teens only, and without a lot of strangers coming and going. Alvin finds it challenging to share his prized items and people with other dogs, so he may be happiest as your one and only. If you think Alvin is the type of guy you`re looking for, stop by the shelter and ask to meet him! Freda is 8 months old and very sweet. Gets along well with cats and dogs. Loves to cuddle on your lap. Willingly goes outside to potty. She just needs more attention from an owner who doesn't have to go to work as much as I do.

Story
Good fella is a 15 pound terrier mix. He’s got your typical small dog attitude but he’s been warming up to our staff. He is navigating his leash walks and making new friends. We estimate that he’s approximately 2 years old and is eager to find a family. He’s still adjusting so we might suggest a few meets to ensure his comfort level and a quieter home would be better for him.If you would like to meet Good Fella , please apply here : https://www.cognitoforms.com/griffinpondanimalshelter1/griffinpondanimalshelteradoptionapplicationfordogs
