Story
Baby Snaps was saved from over breeders in south buffalo which means they were more than likely even though I have no evidence they were breeding the dogs with their mother so he has a little cleft leg. But he’s very very sweet, loud and needs constant attention that I can’t give him and I want him to be in the best care available

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pepper Jack is one of a litter of puppies that recently came from Texas, where they were found living on the streets and struggling to survive. They are approximately 7 months old. Pepper Jack is unique among the litter, as he is the only one with a smooth coat! All the pups are happy little furballs just looking for love! They’re playful, loving, and bursting with energy. You’ll often find them snuggled up close to their foster family or their furry friends, trying to stay warm.    These little cuties are crate-trained, but they still need to learn how to walk on a leash. They’re making great progress with their potty training, but they’ll need some extra help in their forever home, so be prepared for a few accidents as they learn the ropes. They have a fully fenced yard at their foster home, which makes playtime super fun! They love being outside, even as they get used to the Buffalo weather.  Other than barking, they are fine with cats, and we believe they will do well with kids!    Since they're still just pups, they’ll need some training in their forever homes. But one thing is for sure: they’re sweet, loving, and full of personality! Pepper Jack is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. His adoption fee is $475Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 30, 2024, 8:41 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Gia is searching for her forever home. You may remember her from a previous situation when her first owner had severe health issues and could no longer care for her. After spending a little over a year with her new mom, Gia faced another tragedy; her mom suddenly passed away, leaving the family heartbroken and Gia once again in need of a loving person. At 8 years old, this little lady has been through a lot. We are looking for someone who will understand her unique needs. Due to being moved around quite a bit over the last two years, Gia can be hesitant around new people.   Gia is a quirky little girl with the cutest underbite and lots of teeth that light up her smile. And those ears! She must be able to hear the flutter of butterfly wings with them!    Gia is a dog that needs a savvy owner who understands her needs. She may take a few days to warm up to a new environment. At first, when you go to pet her, don’t be surprised if she shows you her teeth. This is her defense mechanism—it's a warning for you to give her space. The best way to get to know Gia is to let her come to you. Sit on the couch and watch TV, and before long, she'll be in your lap, climbing all over you, wanting you to gently pet her. Once Gia learns to trust you, she will be completely loyal. She will shower you with kisses and want to play with you, especially with her little toys. Gia is food-motivated, so treats are a great way to win her affection quickly.   When it comes to children, Gia is not suitable for homes with kids under the age of 15. If children do visit, Gia will be perfectly content to sleep the day away, either in your bedroom or in a crate. She would much rather have a quiet, adult-only home with 1-2 people. While she gets along with other dogs, she prefers to be the center of attention and the princess of the household.   Speaking of sleeping arrangements, Gia loves to snuggle in bed with her people—it's her favorite place to sleep! In true Chihuahua fashion, she loves to sleep under the blankets. If you don’t lift the blankets for her, she will paw at you until you do. The princess has spoken, and you will listen! If she needs to go potty at night, Gia will happily use a potty pad. However, she certainly enjoys a good, long night’s sleep.   In terms of house training, Gia is as trained as a Chihuahua can be. When it’s cold and wet outside, she will use a potty pad; when it’s warm, she prefers to go outside. Gia is leash-trained, so a fenced yard is not necessary.   Gia is a wonderful little girl who needs a specific kind of home. If you are willing to give her the time she needs to warm up to you, you won’t be disappointed. Gia is a fun, affectionate, and fiercely loyal dog. We know her perfect home is out there—could it be with you? Gia is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $300 in hopes to find her forever home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 18, 2025, 10:25 am

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.I have been trying to post this little boy for more than a week and just do not know what to say about his breed.  His mother is an 11 pound, 4 year old Chihuahua.  She was picked up from the streets after giving birth in a field.  I got her and the 2 boys when they were just 1 week old.  They have been in my home thriving greatly. Since momma was out in the streets we do not know who daddy is, sorry.  Bobby is 4.6 pounds and 9 weeks old.  He does favor mom.  He is 2 pounds lighter than his brother Boots.  I have included a picture of mom. They play constantly and love when I let them out of the puppy play pen to play with the bigger dogs.  They run zoomies all around the living room.   These are very very good and loving puppies and should make great family pets whatever they are mixed with. Both boys have had 2 vaccinations and due their 3rd one next week so they will come fully vaccinated, neutered, dewormed and microchipped.  They are too young right now for a rabies. We transport to most state across the country.  Thank you for looking. If interested, please submit an application on our website at www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         November 7, 2024, 5:10 am

Story
Ziggy is a lover boy who would love to have a home with you.  He gets along with all of the dogs in my home and plays very well.  He is completely crate and potty trained.  When you tell him to 'Go Home' he puts himself in his crate and telling him to 'Go Potty' he will run outside.  I have not left him alone in the home while I am running errands because he always puts himself in his crate.  He will eat with the other dogs but he likes to eat in his crate.  He does not have any food or any other aggression. Ziggy was an owner surrender from someone who had him all of his 3 years.  The owners living situation changed and she could keep him any longer.  When he first came to me he was very scared and confused which was understanding.  I completely left him alone so he could get use to his new environment, the dogs and me.  After 2 days he came up to me giving me kisses and he has been my best friend every since. On the day of surgery, he was nervous but he allowed the vet tech to handle him and he was so relieved to see me on pick up time.  Once he gets use to you, he is an excellent pet and no maintenance on a daily basis. Ziggy is 3 years old, weighs 8 pounds and a long haired Chihuahua that would need to be groomed about every 3 months.  If you are interested in adopting him, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. Sorry it is hard for me to get a picture of him by himself as he is always playing with one of the other dogs. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
