Story
This beautiful, young black and tan long haired Chiweenie girl is called Clover and soon she will be ready for a new home. Once she has weaned, her precious puppies and started a new chapter in her young life. She has belonged to a senior woman with very limited vision and who never chose to spay her in the short few years that she has had her.  Clover is 2 years old and weighs 12 pounds and is currently weaning her 3 puppies from nursing. Her puppies are five weeks old. Clover is a smart and affectionate little girl that is looking for a home that can offer her a very stable environment with lots of love and reassuring consistency. She is a wonderful little girl that walks beautifully on a leash and is completely housebroken and quiet as a mouse.  She has a regalness about her. that exudes a happiness and desire to be a part of your daily life.   She appreciates anything and everything that is shown to her.  Her former owner has relinquished Clover and her puppies to Critter Cavalry, to care for them and find good homes.  Clover is currently living with multiple dogs, both large and small and also is around a cat.  She does beautifully with them all and has very gently made yourself at home and become a part of the foster family's routine. Her foster mom is truly impressed with Clover and says she will be a rare and special dog to adopt.   Don't waste much time.Thinking about this little girl or you will miss the chance of a lifetime.  Contact us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting her.  She is currently resigning in a foster home in nashville, tennessee, where the rescue originates. We transport to the northeast states most every weekend, and she's available to travel soon.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 9, 2025, 7:03 pm

Story
Captain is a darling little guy who was born to a Chihuahua mix momma and weighed 12 pounds and his dad was a Lhasa Apso mix who weighed 21 pounds and very handsome.  This little guy was born to a litter of 7 puppies and he is just the most charming little elf you will ever encounter.  He is happy, active, darling and good with other dogs and loves people.  This boy is 12 pounds at 13 weeks and he will be a 20-25 pounds boy when fully grown.   We love his casual and fun loving personality and that he loves to snuggle and sit in your lap.  You want a lap dog that will always think he is 10 pounds even as an adult?   Captain is ready to take charge and share all the life experiences that you have dreamed of when adopting a small breed puppy.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue to the email of ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 7, 2025, 11:26 pm

Story
All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step. Hi there! My name is Nelson, and I may be small, but I have a BIG heart—once I get to know you, of course. I like to take my time warming up to new people, but once we’re friends, get ready for some serious cuddle sessions. Snuggling is my favorite hobby, especially if there’s a warm blanket or a cozy fireplace involved. I’m pretty good about my housebreaking, but let’s be real—this freezing New England winter is NOT my thing. I’d much rather be inside, all snuggled up, than outside in the cold (can’t we just agree that snow is unnecessary?). I get along great with other dogs (Im pretty submissive) and love to play—I’m a lover, not a fighter! Food-wise, I can be a little picky, but hey, I have refined tastes. I just discovered toys and LOVE to play with them.  If you’re looking for a tiny, sweet, and snuggly best friend who just wants to be warm and loved, I might be your perfect match. Hit me up, and maybe we can have a cuddle session! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143  All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only. February 6, 2025, 10:00 am
