I was found wandering the cold streets of Detroit and I really hope to find a nice comfortable home soon! I was really scared at first, but after a couple of days in my foster home, I was able to open up and start enjoying life. I have long legs, so I am really good at running. I love walks and exploring in the yard. I need slow introductions to other dogs and may be picky. I have ignored cats that I've met at adoption events but may like to chase. I am very sweet and affectionate, and I like to give kisses. I am vaccinated and neutered. I do have an issue with my eyes that will likely be lifelong. My eyes don't make tears so I will likely require eye drops lifelong, and several times a day. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. Skip is a female Chihuahua/Pomeranian. She’s 7 pounds of crazy, sweet fun. She favors a Chihuahua physically and in her attitude. She loves to go for rides ( I have a brand new seat for the car for her), she loves chasing her ball, being outside on the deck, and snuggling at anytime. She’s been a joy to be with and I’m broken hearted that I have to rehome her due to physical reasons. I just can take care of her like she deserves. She’s not been around kids or other pets and is the only pet here, she is spoiled a bit. She will bark at strangers and loud noises, but she’s fine once she gets to know you. I will give all of her things to you including food, crate, bed, toys, treats, new car seat, etc.

Mia loves to pet and cuddle, she sleeps on the bed every night and snuggles with her foster mommy and other foster dog. She’s normally very quiet, I hardly know she’d around sometime. Unless she’s outside and decides she wants to come in, she will bark and let you know when she wants inside. She gets along perfectly with the other dogs in the home ranging in size from 8 lbs to 90 she doesn’t mind. She’ll follow you around to see what your doing, she doesn’t want to miss out on anything. She may be a bit older but she runs and acts like a youngster. She has to be one of the easiest, most perfect girls I’ve fostered. Let us know if you’d like to meet this darling girl. Their world has been turned upside down. No one wanted them so they were going to be euthanized; how sad is that! Both are sweet girls, but Lucy is the more outgoing of the two. Lucy loves to be in your lap giving kisses. Pixie is a bit more timid and needs a little time to warm up, but when she does she will be asking for pets and to be in your lap. Lucy and Pixie do not need to be adopted together. In fact, they may do better adopted separately so each can get the attention they need, plus Lucy tends to be a bit pushy with Pixie when it comes to getting attention or food. Both dogs are spayed and microchipped. They will be seeing the vet soon for a health check and update on any needed vaccines. They are pee-pad trained.
