I need to find a loving, safe home ASAP for Chibi 💔 Chibi is a 2-year-old Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix that I adopted from Kent County Animal Shelter in January. He is truly a sweet, loyal little companion — but unfortunately, my other dog has begun attacking him, and despite time and training, it’s not improving. He is now hiding under the couch. This isn’t fair to him, and he deserves to feel safe. *He has a bite history. He seems fearful of Black Males. About Chibi: • 2 years old • Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix • Potty trained • Crate trained • Loves walks • Total lap dog ❤️ • Best suited for a single person or calm home. Again he has a bite history! He has classic Chihuahua personality — devoted, a little feisty, and very attached to his person. If you know, you know. I do NOT want to take him back to the shelter unless absolutely necessary.

Story
Gracie is a busy, energetic two year old little lady that was left in the unfortunate position of not having been socialized or properly trained. Her elderly owner passed away and left her very anxious and struggling with the change. She needs a calm, quiet environment, preferably with a female since she is very distrusting of males, and will need structure, exercise, and patience. Gracie is scared of cats and will bark and run at them, and she is sometimes territorial around our chihuahua so she would prefer to be the only pet. She is learning to get over her fears and can be very sweet around a favorite human but will need to continue extensive training before being able to be around others without barking. Potty training is coming along, and she would be amazing at agility or nose work and is great at puzzle toys and games. She absolutely loves to cuddle and burrow under blankets. Gracie is also crate trained and is doing well learning to walk on a leash.
