These days I’m embracing my golden girl era and living life at a slower, cozier pace. Most of my day is spent perfecting the art of napping and keeping a close eye on the treat supply. Toys? Not really my thing. I’d much rather find the comfiest spot in the house and snooze the afternoon away. I’m not a big cuddler, but I will happily waddle over for some gentle scratches and a little attention. As a distinguished older lady, I do have a few senior quirks. I have arthritis, Cushing’s, and my hearing isn’t what it used to be. If you need to get my attention, just give me a friendly wave in front of my face and I’ll be right with you. Because of my age, I do occasionally have accidents in the house, but I am mostly potty pad trained and do well when I have them available. I’ll just need a patient and understanding home that knows older pups sometimes need a little extra grace.
