Are you looking for a velcro dog (she will jump a childgate in order to be with her person) that is calm, cool, and collected? Winky is an 8 y/o Chi mix weighing about 10 lbs available for adoption with Pawsitive Tails Dog Rescue. She's a sweet, gentle girl with a soft, pleasant demeanor and she loves to be cuddled. Winky seems to be house/crate-trained and gets along with other dogs. Given Winky is missing an eye, she's probably visually impaired (but it doesn't allow her down). 😉 And she might have hearing impairment as well, or it's simply Chi Selective Hearing (yes, that's a thing 😉). Winky is not a fan of a crate and is vocal about it. As with most Chis, she's not a fan of cold weather and is quick to take care of potty business as long as you go outside with her. He is a 6-year-old, under-10-pound Chihuahua who loves to cuddle and likes belly rubs. And right there on your lap is where both of those things should take place, Angel thinks. Or, he can just do some good, old-fashioned snoozing. Maybe both of you can do that one…don’t worry, we won’t tell anyone if you do. The only thing Angel likes as much as being on your lap are TREATS. He is totally food-driven (us too, Angel!) and loves a treat, or even the potential of a treat – that bag-crinkling noise in the kitchen sure sounded promising. Better check it out! He listens really well when there’s a treat involved. He gets along well with people, other dogs, and even the kitty-cats. He’ll play with other dogs and have some fun. He likes to spend time outside too, and he walks well on a leash, so that’s the perfect combination. Work off your treats with a little movement, and then get back to that favorite chair. Angel knows he is expected to do his business outside, and he does just that. At night, Angel sleeps under the covers with his person. If you’re starting to think that Angel might be a little confused as to whether he’s a human or a dog, you’re not wrong, LOL. He is house trained and crate trained, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He’s also current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. They are so easy to get along with, and they’ll help you find the sunny spots of your house – and your life. Nellie is about 8 years old and weighs 10-12 lbs. Gidget is 13 and weighs 14 pounds. They are a bonded pair who bring their own comforts with them when they’re together. Nellie is also blind. These little gals are mellow and content. They get along well with people and with other dogs. Both of them are good on the leash, so you can go for some nice strolls together and let them get their sniffs. They like soft, stuffie toys to play with when they’re feeling frisky. Mostly, though, Nellie and Gidget prefer to enhance your décor – they add that extra little something to the corner of the couch or the nook of the chair while they snooze away the day. They’ll make their dog bed look like some sort of paradise, the way they curl into it. Soaking up the sunbeams coming in the windows is an art and a science, as they’ll show you. Both ladies are house trained and crate trained. Nellie will take a bit to learn the lay of the land, since she can’t see her way around, but once she does, she’ll settle in comfortably.
