Meet Riley! He's a 2 year old chihuahua/terrier mix. He weighs 15 pounds. He gets along with other dogs and doesn't mind cats. He is very timid. He is going to take work. He came from a hoarding situation and learning to trust people. He's made great progress and would still need patience to progress farther. He's not a biter, but will try to run and hide until becomes comfortable. He will be a great dog for the right person. His adoption fee is $175.00. Edward joined our family as a puppy and has been raised in a household with children and other dogs, both large and small breeds. He is a loyal, affectionate dog who bonds strongly with one person but struggles with anxiety, which can make him cautious around high activity, loud noises, and unfamiliar people. Edward has shown defensive behaviors, including growling and nipping, and has occasionally broken skin. Despite this, he is loving, cuddly, and well-mannered in calm environments. However, his jealousy has led to conflicts with our other dog, resulting in medical issues. While Edward is deeply loved, we believe he would thrive in a quieter, single-pet home with someone who can give him the attention and structure he needs.

FosterClyde is a dental school drop out with a smile that will melt your heart. He is a super sweet, shy gentleman that will make a very loyal companion! He is quiet and loves his naps with a fuzzy blankie. Clyde mostly keeps to himself and loves a rawhide or bone to chew on and lots of belly rubs and scratchies! He is good with other dogs, house and crate trained and is approximately 6 years old and weighs 12 pounds.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats.
