Story
Meet Alfie, a 4-year-old long-haired Chihuahua with a truly majestic presence. This small, snow-white boy has a soft, luscious coat that gives him an elegant look—but it does require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. Alfie is a very shy little guy who takes a bit of time to warm up to new people. Once he feels safe, though, you’ll see just how gentle and sweet he really is—he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He’s happiest perched on your lap, quietly observing the world around him. Since Alfie is past his puppy years, he has a calmer demeanor, but he still enjoys occasional bursts of energy where he’ll run and play. He also loves exploring the outdoors, taking his time to sniff and take everything in. Alfie does well with other dogs, cats, and kids. He tends to be indifferent toward other dogs for now, but with time and confidence, he could learn to play. Larger or very dominant dogs can be a bit intimidating for him, so he would do best with gentle companions. He thrives on calm, quiet affection—think soft pets and soothing ear scratches. Alfie is both potty-trained and crate-trained, making him an easy addition to a loving home. Alfie would do well in just about any household willing to give him patience, kindness, and a safe space to blossom. With the right family, this timid boy will slowly come out of his shell and let his beautiful personality shine.

Story
Lulu is a 12 year old Boston Terrier Chihuahua. She loves to nap in the sun, snuggle under blankets, and get pets. She trusts a few people and is a pretty chill dog most of the time. She is very nervous and can be aggressive when scared or threatened. She should not be around children and has bitten in the past. She won't cause any damage to adults and is very sweet once she knows someone. She likes women a lot more than men. She does not play with toys or need much exercise.

Story
Yes, he is a cute little nugget! Francis is a 2.5-year-old small mixed breed weighing about 17 pounds. What is his breed mix? We just don’t know for sure. Francis is adorable but has not been given the structure he needs throughout his young life. We now search for that perfect forever home. Please read carefully because he needs a specific home to make it forever. First of all, he needs a home with an experienced, firm handler he will listen to. He needs consistency in training to understand rules, boundaries, etc. Francis needs to be the only pet in the home. We are looking for a calm, one person home with very low foot traffic. More people means over stimulation. He can get mouthy and nippy when overwhelmed. When he is with his person alone, he can be such a good boy. He loves to go on walks, zoomies in the yard and snuggling on that special person’s lap. We are looking for a home with a fully fenced yard with direct access from the house so he can enjoy those zoomies safely.  Francis is available by appointment only. Please fill out an application using the link provided below so we can learn more about you and your home. If we think it is the right fit, we will contact you to set up a time to meet him.https://dogsforever.org/adopting-from-dogs-forever/adoption-foster-form/Disclosure: Francis' breed is an educated guess and is not guaranteed.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, my name is Bo, but you can call me Mr. Wonderful or something else but don't call me late for dinner. Are you ready to meet me? I'm a wonderful dog that likes going outside and for walks. I need a fenced in yard because I like to chase things like the bunny that is usually in my neighbor's yard.  I don't think I would like living with rambunctious kids, but adults with a quiet home would suit me well. If you want to sit back and watch TV, I'm right there sitting next to you. I like treats and I’ve loved going to doggie daycare to make new friends. I’ve also worked with the trainer to learn some new skills, I’m happy to do anything for a treat! Bo's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives.  If you would like to meet Bo, please submit an adoption application through our website Adopthope.org.  Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept animals as indoor pets only, altered and kept current on vaccinations and preventatives. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 11:31 am
