Story
Mickey is a nice size dog weighing in at 20 pounds. He is a total lap dog and loves to give kisses. He is 2 years old, our best guess for breed is shiba inu mix, his curly tail is adorable. He loves to play with other dogs but would make a great only dog too. He is a sturdy dog and very confident. Mickey would make a great agility dog as he may be part mountain goat, jk. He loves car rides and is always ready for an adventure. He has not been around young children, but definitely cannot be with cats. He is potty trained, crates well, and walks good on a leash. Mickey is a character and would be a good fit in most homes. Mickey's $300 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm test and prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration. Story
Dallas is a sweet, gentle and timid guy, who came to us very underweight from a hoarding situation. All he wants is love and attention. His foster mom says "Dallas is an annoying little guy who want to be held all the time and sleeps on my head, along with sticking his tongue in my mouth at any random opportunity". She actually loves him, lol. He's doing well using potty pads. Dallas is about 3 years old and came to us at just 6 pounds, but is now 12.3 pounds.  Are you looking for your very own free loader? How about someone to dress up on game day to keep you company? Do you need someone to share your bed each night and keep your lap warm during the day? How about an occasional kiss (with tongue) while you’re trying to talk? I have the perfect 3 year old lil man for you. Weighing in at just 10# Dallas is the perfect size.  Dallas came from a hoarding case, he will act scared to death for about 24 hours, then he will be sitting on your head before you know it.  Because they have never being outside previously, potty training will take continued work. Belly bands will help with this. He will also need to be leash walked until the full trust/ bond is formed because he will be a flight risk in the beginning, and Chihuahuas can find the smallest opening in a fence and squeeze out. If you're ready for your new best friend apply for Dallas. Dallas's $300 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm test and prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip with registration. Story
Houston is learning that humans bring all of the good things in the world. Houston came from a home with 27 other dogs. He has been slower to warm up than his brother and the world is scary and makes him nervous. He needs a quiet home with lots of patience and kindness to help this sweet boy be all he can be. He is using the potty pad consistently and is seeking his foster humans for comfort and reassurance. He has come a long way in a short time and will be a wonderful companion with a loving and secure home. He is about 1 years old and came to us at 9.6 pounds, but needs to gain a couple pounds. Houston is good with dogs and cats, children are overwhelming for him so an adult only home would be best. Houston's $300 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm test and prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip with registration. Story
Here is Denver one of the 27 hoarding pups. He is 3 years old and weighs in around 12 pounds. When I say he has come a long way in such a short time I mean great leaps and bounds. He does ok with other dog. He is still a little scared so would be best in a home without young children. He is now wanting human interaction and has recently started to love going outside to roam. He doesn’t roam too far from the humans but he enjoys time outside. Whoever is willing to put in some time with him will be very happy they did. He still needs more time with leash training and potty training.  Denver's $300 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm test and prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip with registration.
