Roxy is a sweet as can be 10 year old, 13 lb chihuahua mix! If you're looking for an outgoing, friendly, happy dog, she is your girl. She loves playing and being with other dogs, children, and especially her person snuggled up on the couch or sleeping in bed. She loves a good nap, but also her precious toys. Miss Roxy is making progress on housetraining again in her new foster home. She isn't able to hold it for long, but does her business outside if you take her frequently. She tolerates being in her crate if that's what must happen, but her favorite sleeping spot is nuzzled by her person's shoulder. Her favorite activities are "barkour," perching on the back of the couch watching the world go by, spending time in the yard, and we cannot stress this enough, cuddles. Take this sweet girl home and see for yourself what a joy an older dog can be! Her minimum adoption fee is $195 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
