*SPECIAL NEEDS - MENTALLY CHALLENGED* Meet Money Penny! She's 8 yrs old, 14 lbs, Chihuahua Mix. Penny is a Special Needs Dog due to genetics. She was brought into rescue with 3 other dogs we believe were siblings. She's fine physically . Her biggest issue is her comprehension and noises seem to excite her and she'll run to safe zone. She eats well, and she will take food & treats from your fingers. She does hang sometimes with the other dogs as seen in the photos. So having another dog in home may help her understand being a dog. Because she is frightened quickly, she has not been taken outside because not sure how noises outside and the wide-open space would affect her and whether she will be controllable. Foster home is still working on that. She is 99% potty pad trained. Sometimes when she hears a noise and runs, she may potty just because of running. But 99% of the time she used potty pads. PENNY WOULD LOVE TO HAVE SOMEONE WHO WOULD JUST LET HER LIVE QUIETLY AND LEARN TO BE PART OF THE FAMILY. ** REQUIRES FENCED YARD & COMPANION YOUNG VERY PLAYFUL DOG ** Mick Jagger "Mickey" is a 2 yr old, 7 lb, Chihuahua Mix with puppy energy, and he is the ultimate Ladies man!! ( see in the video below how he plays so gently with a female in foster home ). He was rescued from a hoarder situation, this makes him a bit skittish due to trust issues, but once he trusts you, he will love you. Mickey would do better with a female owner although he will occasionally sit on the foster dad's lap. "He is a PLAYER!!" He LOVES to play with other dogs, ANY SIZE. He gets along with ALL size dogs (see photo) He will RUN and chase or be chased by dogs until he tires out! We are working on potty training. But because of the hoarder situation, he still uses potty pads 10% of the time and if you let him out regularly, he will go outside too. Mickey doesn’t bite but we advise against homes with children as he gets overstimulated easily and makes him a flight risk out open doors if he gets scared. He can be a "door darter"! Mickey also needs a fenced in yard so he can run around with his play buddies. He is not leash trained yet. He does bark at noises but can be corrected. When Mickey loves and trusts you, he will take some time to come up on your lap. He will sleep in bed with you and give you some loving moments. He can be super sweet! &#226&#128&#139 Mickey's Perfect home will have a fenced yard, another Friendly Very Playful dog to play with, and a Mom to love. Poor little Abby found herself homeless after her parents passed away. She was in a quiet senior home and therefore is terrified of new people and lots of noise and commotion. She would love a forever home that is quiet and laid back and gives her a soft doggie bed to sleep in. She is house and pad trained but will need time to adjust and trust in her new home. She came in severely overweight and our vets say she could stand to lose about 3 more lbs. She has done well with the other dogs and ignores the cats here. Are you her forever home? ##2058394##
