Hi, I`m Mathias! I`m a fun mix of energetic and chill, ready to enjoy whatever life has to offer with my favorite people. I absolutely love going on walks and car rides, and I’m always eager to be by your side, whether it’s snuggling up with my foster mom or enjoying a snack of cheese (yum!). I do have a bit of a thing about other dogs—I tend to bark, lunge, and get pretty worked up when I see them, especially on walks. However, I’m a quick learner and really eager to please, so I think I can be trained to get along with the right doggie friends. I used to bark at my foster cat, but we’ve learned to coexist peacefully. My disposition is overall loving and sweet, so I know I can improve with the right guidance.When I meet new people, I’m super excited and interested! I love attention and affection, and I’ll happily give you kisses to show how much I care. I’m very affectionate and devoted, always seeking out pets and snuggles. My perfect family would be one where someone is often home because I don’t like being left alone. I’ve had a couple of surgeries due to bladder stones, so I need a family that’s committed to making sure I get my special food to keep those stones from coming back. Remi is the SWEETEST BOY! He is 4 1/2 months old and looks to be a long haired Chihuahua and/or Papillon mix. He currently weighs 7 pounds. We do not think that he will get over 12-15 pounds when full grown. He is very sweet, but high energy! He loves to play all day and then sleep hard! He loves to play with his foster siblings and would love a young housemate to play with. He is almost potty trained. He is ok in a crate, but he would rather be out and about. Remy needs a fenced-in yard. He thinks when you go to pick him up, it is a game of "catch me if you can"! He will run until he can go no further. He patrols the yard at the fence boundry at least a dozen times a day. Remy is good with older kids. He learning how to walk on a leash and so far is doing ok. He also needs to have another young dog in the home- he is a play all day kind of pup and doesn’t like to be alone. Luci is a loving 5 year old Chihuahua/Pomeranian/Terrier mix male dog. He enjoys being held, being cuddled, and loves attention. He loves going outside and sunbathing. He is also very playful and enjoys playing with his owners and toys. He does do well with other female dogs and children, but can get food aggression towards them if he is being bothered. He is afraid of thunderstorms and can get separation anxiety. Unfortunately, I didn’t know about littermate syndrome, and his brother and him are getting more aggressive towards each other and that is the reason he is being rehomed. Luci would make a great companion to anyone who is willing to give him the love and attention he deserves.
