Story
Meet Shady: Your Loyal Little Shadow Shady is a sweet, gentle soul searching for a calm and loving forever home. This small, silky-soft boy loves cuddling up close and giving polite kisses. He's happy to share his home with another dog-he enjoys curling up with his canine foster sibling-but he'd also thrive as your one-and-only, soaking up all the love and attention he deserves. Shady is house-trained and the ultimate couch buddy, always ready to keep you company during movie nights. He's also learning about the joys of walks, taking small, brave steps toward becoming your new walking companion. Though shy at first, Shady has been blossoming in foster care, showing off a quirky, silly side that will warm your heart. Patience is key as he continues to build trust-he's still figuring out that humans are safe and kind. Once he feels comfortable, his love and devotion will shine through. It's important to note that Shady is a flight risk. Quick movements can startle him, and he's always on the lookout for escape routes. His adopters will need to take precautions, such as keeping him on-leash at all times, even in the yard, and providing a secure environment. If you're ready to open your heart to a sweet and sensitive companion, Shady promises to love you with every fiber of his tiny body. Give him the chance to become the cherished baby of your home-he's worth it! Put in an application to meet him today!

Story
Hi, I`m Mathias! I`m a fun mix of energetic and chill, ready to enjoy whatever life has to offer with my favorite people. I absolutely love going on walks and car rides, and I’m always eager to be by your side, whether it’s snuggling up with my foster mom or enjoying a snack of cheese (yum!). I do have a bit of a thing about other dogs—I tend to bark, lunge, and get pretty worked up when I see them, especially on walks. However, I’m a quick learner and really eager to please, so I think I can be trained to get along with the right doggie friends. I used to bark at my foster cat, but we’ve learned to coexist peacefully. My disposition is overall loving and sweet, so I know I can improve with the right guidance. When I meet new people, I’m super excited and interested! I love attention and affection, and I’ll happily give you kisses to show how much I care. I’m very affectionate and devoted, always seeking out pets and snuggles. My perfect family would be one where someone is often home because I don’t like being left alone. I’ve had a couple of surgeries due to bladder stones, so I need a family that’s committed to making sure I get my special food to keep those stones from coming back. If you`re looking for a loving, loyal companion who`s always ready to share his affection, I’d love to be part of your family!

Story
Hi there, I`m Layla! I`m a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to my energy level - I can be quite playful and energetic at times, but I also really enjoy my chill moments where I can just relax and take it easy. When it comes to meeting new people, I tend to be a little more reserved at first. It takes me a bit of time to warm up and feel comfortable around unfamiliar faces. But once I get to know you, I`m such a loving and affectionate girl! I really enjoy being petted, as long as it`s at my own pace.I actually have a furry best friend named Suki, who is a beagle. I absolutely adore her and love following her around everywhere she goes. We have so much fun playing and exploring together. As for other pets, I`m generally pretty good with them, as long as they`re respectful of my boundaries. I recently spent some time with cats, and I did very well with them! I gave them their space, and I know that I would do fine with cats in the future. My favorite things are toys - I`ll never turn down a good game of fetch or tug-of-war! And of course, I love my favorite people and treats. My least favorite things used to be wearing a harness and collar, but I`m getting much more comfortable with that now, and hopefully soon I will be able to walk on a leash all by myself! I may still get a little nervous about it at first, but I don`t even notice them once they`re on.What makes me so special is my affectionate nature once I`ve gotten to know you. I may take a little longer to warm up, but when I do, I`ll shower you with love and cuddles. I`m also just a generally happy and delightful pup who loves life.I think the ideal home for me would be one with at least one other dog, and patient humans who understand that I need a little extra time to feel secure. A fenced-in yard would be perfect since I can get a bit scared in new situations. But with time and love, I blossom into the most wonderful companion. If you have the time and space for a girl like me, I`d love to meet you!

Story
When Ed is alone he is very chill. Has no aggression towards people at all and he likes kids. He’s quiet, likes belly rubs and walks. He is NOT good with other dogs. His anxiety causes him to be food and territory aggressive. HE NEEDS TO BE IN A ONE-DOG HOME. I have had dogs all my life and have dealt with many behaviors. We have tried everything and he just seems miserable. Our other dogs are very non-aggressive but he still shows frequent aggression towards them. We have tried everything, done lots of research and nothing works. We do not think he is happy here. HE NEEDS TO BE THE ONLY DOG. if he goes into a home with another dog the aggression will start again. Please give him a home he can call his own. This breaks my heart, I have never re-homed a dog but he is not happy and our other dogs are not happy. He will be a great companion for someone with the right circumstances ie. no other dogs.
