Kya is extremely loving. Outside of her reactivity, she really is a sweet pup. She is perfectly content to lay on the couch with you while read or watch TV. She loves playing tug and playing with squeaky toys. Her favorite activity is sniffing. Kya is on medication for her anxiety and reactivity, and needs to maintain that, nevertheless, we are looking for a calm, consistent environment for her. Low to no traffic in the home, no kids, no other pets. She is very reactive to other dogs - so maybe a nice fenced yard to play in - or a walking area with no other dog walkers or kids. She does bite when she feels threatened. Not uncommon for small dogs but we want a home that limits her feeling threatened. We are looking for someone who has experience with little reactive dogs. She is seeing a vet behaviorist and it helps her greatly. Combined with a more calm environment, she should thrive. Her owner will discuss all of that and give you the vet's contact. Ideally this training would be continued. Kya is crate trained and loves her crate. She is housetrained and has only had one accident when she was ill. She knows several commands, Sit, Come, Leave it. She resource guards but can be redirected with a treat and the command Leave it. Age: 3 years Weight: 25 lbs Temperament: Best with a calm adult, no pets, no kids Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative Training: House trained, crate trained, knows several commands. Buggy was left on the side of the road in a small crate. She loves to play with toys and other dogs. She is still learning house training but doing very well. She's extremely smart and a fast learner. We are actively working with her on training. We have an appointment to get her shots, but if you adopt her before then we won't ask for the adoption fee, as that is just to cover her vet care. Please consider her! She is extremely sweet and needs a good home. One of my dogs is not good with puppies, which is why I can't keep her.

Remington is 10 years old, Male,Chihuahua Mix I got him at FurKids in 2015 when he was a puppy. He is very friendly, affectionate, loves people and sleeping. He also has a playful energetic side sometimes. Though he is a bit of a scared cat most of the time and very anxious. I am not in any great financial position and my dog has really bad teeth problems causing some bad breath, he wont let you touch one side of his mouth which its worse on. I have done everything before to maintain his teeth, he has even gotten some removed, but no matter what they have gotten worse and are in worse shape than ever. I am looking for a home that can provide him with better care rather than wait too long till the problem might not be fixable Dogs: He is okay with dogs, he rather be alone away from them and does really like them really close in his space. At most he tolerates them, but it really depends on the dog. He doesnt like squeaky toys. Also he does have food aggression with dogs though.
