Story
2 years old aprox 10-15 lbs new to rescue. Champ lived his life jumping from couch to couch with his young man. He is great with people of all ages. Recenlty Champ's owner had to move to a new home where champ was not welcomed. He is adjusting to his new life.  Champ was an only pet. He is doing well with the smaller dogs (30lbs and under) that he met in foster care. He is terrified of some of the larger dogs and has no idea of what to think about the cats. He is just now being crate trained and doing well in a plastic carrier type crate.  He is learning how to walk on a leash but would prefer to have a fenced in yard to potty in.  Champ is very active, loves to run and play with toys. He is great riding in the car and enjoys going on adventures.  adoption fee $300 includes neutered, up to date on  basic vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms.  To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic ##2244913##

Story
Bear is an approximately 1.5 yr old Chihuahua mix. Bear found himself without a place to live when his owner had to move into a homeless shelter. He currently lives in a foster home with older children and would do best in a home with older children (12 and up) rather than very young children. He’s quite friendly and rather playful, he gets along with other dogs although can be a little bossy like many small dogs and is fine with the cats in his current foster home. He is crate trained and is perfecting his housetraining skills. Bear is vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, neutered and microchipped. Please reach out if you are interested in possibly providing a permanent home for Bear. He’s a cute little guy and won’t last long. Local inquiries only please.

Story
A FRIENDLY FELLOW:  Approx. 8 years old / Approx. 16 lbs.  Hi, I’m Emilio!  I came to Mostly Mutts with another dog friend from animal control and I’m so happy to be here!  I enjoyed spending time with the nice volunteers at Mostly Mutts and then I got to spend 4 days in a temporary foster home during the recent snow event.  Now I’m in another foster home having fun again.  I hope to meet my furever family very soon!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I came in with another dog and coexisted well with the 2 dogs in my temporary foster home, though I wasn’t a fan of a lot of nose-to-nose interactions, so if you have a dog that’s not looking for a playmate, let’s meet. / I wasn’t fond of the cats in my temp. foster, so I’d rather not live with cats please. /  There was a 16- and a 17-year-old in my temp. foster home and I liked them, so if you have kids, let’s meet and best no very young kids that may fall on me.   • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  The shelter volunteers and my temp. fosters described me as very sweet, friendly, happy, gentle and a bit playful too.  They also reported that I’m quite the lap dog and that I sat nicely for my bath!  I was a bit shaky during the ear cleaning part, so I just stood on the edge of the tub and was thankful they offered some kisses and consoling hugs which I liked. / Energy level: 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  My snow foster reported that I walked well on a leash and knew the command ‘leave it’.  I’m sure you can teach me even more! / My crate manners were good at Mostly Mutts and in my temp. foster home too. / I had a few accidents at the shelter but did well with my potty manners in my temp foster home.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I really enjoy being in laps and snuggling with people.  I’m also a fan of getting attention and just knowing that I’m loved!  I’m sure we can discover lots more things we will enjoy doing together! / Other than cats and a lot of nose-to-nose interactions with other dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I’m a great little dog looking for a great family to love and be loved by! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  January 20, 2025, 6:44 am

Story
Hey yall! I’m Kadi! I’m a cute Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound (I think) mixed girl! I’m around 4 months old and the sweetest little thing! I’m available for preadoption. I’ll be spayed soon so don’t worry, no title of mama for me! I’m super dog friendly, and would do well with kids too! I’m a puppy so I’m sure I would be good with cats, but I haven’t actually met any yet. I’m not fully house or crate trained but don’t worry, I’m a smart girl and will get the hang of it quickly!! Anyways, I hope you pick me for the holidays! I’d love nothing more than to be with my forever people for Christmas and New Years! Please email pawprintpackinc@gmail.com if you’d like to come meet me!

Story
Hey everyone! Meet Peanut Butter and Jelly! Peanut butter is a 12 year old Chihuahua female who is SO sweet! She loves a lap to lay in and get all the cuddles and snuggles! She is bonded to her sister Jelly! Jelly is a 14 year old Chihuahua who also loves cuddle and a lap to lay in, but she does take some more time to warm up to people. She is so sweet but more on the timid side. She looks to her sister for reassurance. These girls were dropped off at a vet we work with and their owner shortly after passed away. They have been sitting in boarding for almost a YEAR. We were asked to help and we said yes! Jelly does have a skin condition but just needs medicated baths once or twice a week. Both are fully vetted, vaccinated, and spayed. They are BONDED and will only be adopted out together! They would prefer a calm and quiet home. Please email at pawprintpackinc@gmail.com if you’re interested in adopting these sweet old gals!

Story
When I came into the county shelter as a stray I was paralyzed with fear. Of course, I'm a 7.5lb Chihuahua and everyone was a giant. I protected myself in the only way I knew by acting mean and I was whisked off the adoption floor into solitary. My foster mom saw me before I was isolated so after my stray hold she came and rescued me. I can be a little frightened when I'm handled roughly by someone new so please be kind to me. I'm working on my potty training. I'm pretty smart so with a little help I know I'll get there. I get along with other dogs, mostly small please. I'm a little cuddle bug so how mean can I be? If you like the Chihuahua breed you'll just L.O.V.E me!
