Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
WEST PALM BEACH, FL - Lori is an 8 1/2 year old, 9lbs, Pomeranian. She is fully vetted, microchipped, recent dental, up to date on shots, parasite free, good on leash, in car, with other dogs. She is mostly peepee pad trained, however foster mom has trained Lori to walk on leash and go potty outside (not 100%). She loves the fresh air, sunshine and grass. Lori had femoral head surgery in November after presenting discomfort in left hip. Released by surgeon, doing well, on the road to full recovery. She needs a calm home, committed, nurturing person(s) that will provide 100% unconditional love and proper care that she so deserves. Retired or work from home is ideal. This little girl is smart, wants to please her person. Lori is pure sweetness, affectionate, funny, loving, loves being near or next to her family cuddling on couch, bed, car, plus will follow them everywhere and may get “underfoot” therefore needs adopter(s) who are steady on their feet. Lori will require use of an X-Pen, peepee pads for the first couple of days if unable to keep an eye on her. Using an X-Pen with peepee pads limits freedom until Lori becomes familiar with new surroundings and new family that understands her needs. Lori’s foster mom noticed that she was having difficulty hearing which was recent loss however could not be restored. She adjusted really well, and is able to lead a normal life with commitment & patience. Due to her hearing & some sight impairment, may do best as the only dog. Lori is a companion dog for a person not another dog. She barks for attention and or to go outside. Lori may only be adopted within the driving distance on the East Coast due to her special needs. Please open your heart and home to this deserving little girl that has been through so much. For additional information or to meet and fall in love, please contact JoAnn 561-313-2005. Thank You.

Story
**ALL ADOPTIONS INCLUDE A HOME VISIT, YOU MUST LIVE IN BROWARD & PALM BEACH COUNTIES** Meet Cam – The Resilient Little Lover Boy Cam’s journey hasn’t been easy, but this 6-month-old Chinese Crested is ready for a fresh start, filled with love and care. Cam began life as an outdoor breeder dog on the west coast of Florida, where he and his family survived not one, but two hurricanes. Despite his rough start, this little guy’s heart is wide open for the right home, and he's eager to grow stronger every day. Cam is learning the ropes of potty training, and he’s already showing progress! Right after mealtime is his prime potty time, and he enjoys having someone by his side to cheer him on and ensure he’s getting it just right. His sense of humor will warm your heart! Thanks to proper nutrition, clean water, and a safe environment, Cam is becoming healthier and stronger. He is currently free from any ailments but will need time to rebuild his body. Cam is a "hairy hairless" Chinese Crested, meaning he has some patches of fur, not completely bald. His skin and coat are already showing signs of improvement! Due to his difficult upbringing outdoors, Cam does have some separation anxiety and thrives when he has space to feel safe and secure. A home where someone is around often would be ideal, not only for his comfort but also to help him with his frequent potty breaks as he continues his training. If you’re ready to welcome a special puppy into your life and have the time, patience, and love to offer, please consider giving Cam the forever home he deserves. He may have had a rough start, but his future is as bright as can be – especially if it’s with you!  This dog's adoption fee is $600 to go towards their vetting (vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed). If you are interested please fill out the adoption application For additional information regarding our adoption process, please check our FAQ's Page.   *All dogs in the care of Get a Life Pet Rescue live in loving foster homes while waiting for their perfect match. Story
**ALL ADOPTIONS INCLUDE A HOME VISIT, YOU MUST LIVE NEAR BROWARD & PALM BEACH COUNTIES** Meet Ciara – The Elegant, Resilient Lady Ready for a Fresh Start Ciara is a beautiful and gentle young Chinese Crested who has already faced more challenges than most but she remains a bright and joyful spirit. Rescued from an outdoor breeder, Ciara survived two hurricanes, showing a level of resilience that is nothing short of inspiring. Now on her journey to healing and happiness. Ciara was diagnosed with heartworm disease because she was not on Heartworm Prevention before. Heartworm is a mosquito-borne disease, but with the right care, it is treatable. She has compled the recommended protocol and is on the road to a healthy future. If you'd like to learn more about heartworm and it's treatment, The American Heartworm Society is an excellent resource. Her spay will be completed at our Broward County vet in March, and she’ll need her forever home to provide love and comfort while we cover her surgery bill. Affectionate and undeniably joyful, Ciara has a playful side that will melt your heart. She loves to zoom around the yard, her gentle spirit shining through as she plays like a puppy. As a "hairy hairless" Chinese Crested, she has a unique coat that requires regular skin moisturizer—a treat she absolutely adores! Ciara closes her eyes in bliss during her spa treatments, making it clear that she appreciates the pampering she deserves. Ciara is at her full, healthy weight of 11 pounds. This lovely 2-3 year old, girl is ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter filled with love, security, and joy. If you're searching for a loyal and loving companion who embodies resilience and grace, Ciara could be the perfect match. Are you ready to give Ciara the forever home she deserves?
