If you are interested in this dog PLEASE carefully read the bio on the dog below. If you are a match please submit an adoption application at WWW.GADR.ORG. Incomplete applications will not be processed. We reserve the right to deny any application that is deemed unfit or unsuitable for the dog. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the dogs that fall under our care. Please be patient our rescue consists of all volunteers. Please don't be upset at us if you're not able to adopt. We do our best. We are now accepting applications for our sweet girl Daisy Mae. She has quite a story and has been through so much. We received an urgent plea from a county shelter to save her. Poor Daisy was a stray in a neighborhood for weeks and the saddest part is she was born with luxating patella's aka her knees were out of the joint. It was so painful to watch her even walk when we rescued her. The fact this scared dog was a stray with this deformity broke our heart. Fast forward to today our rescue paid to have very expensive surgery to repair her issue. Now her patella's are in place. Sometimes she does limp or hold her leg up. She probably will always have a limp or walk strange. Daisy is receiving physical therapy and that really helps. She can never jump on couches but she loves her pet beds. Daisy is nervous at first and is a typical chihuahua, fearful at first and then strongly protective and loving. Daisy loves to cuddle on our extra large pet bed we have. She is healthy and loves our foster dad dearly. We are looking for that special perfect family with a fenced in yard and love and empathy for our girl Daisy to give her a forever home. Daisy is estimated to be about 3 years old but we think she's younger. Daisy is a female tri color chihuahua mix. Daisy weighs about 12 lbs. She is spayed, up to date on all her shots, heartworm flea preventatives, dewormed and microchipped! Please only apply if you are willing to be patient and let her decompress. Daisy is the definition of perseverance and hope. We love her so much. Daisy's adoption donation is only 300.00! Are you the one for Daisy Mae? All adoptions include 30 days pet health insurance, dog food, harness, leash and lifetime training tips

Story
ADOPT ME Kima is doing really well in foster care. She is spayed and UTD on vetting. She loves spending time with her foster mom's other small dogs, and she loves to get attention. We have not seen any aggression from her at all, but she does like to boss around one of her foster siblings (but is very submissive to the one dog who doesn't like her shenanigans). Kima is mostly good with the cats, but if they start to run, she will chase them. We are working on leash training and potty training. Right now she is still extremely terrified of the leash. She would do best in a home with at least one more small dog. After living her whole life in a pen with 35 other dogs, she seems to really appreciate the company of other dogs. She is estimated to be around 2 years old and she is around 8 lbs. Since this is the first time she has lived inside, she is exploring everything, and does like to chew up things she gets (and she gets everything!). Someone who enjoys a happy little dog with puppy energy would be perfect for Kima. Apply to adopt at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUVR/Dog All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Any questions, concerns and suggestions, please feel free to contact us at ALDR@animalluvrs.org.

Story
Meet Padme and Anakin! Padme is a two year old, tiny little peanut. She finds comfort in Anakin. She is working on potty training and doing well with a fake grass puppy pad. She is a little quirky and terrified of loud noises and quick movements. She wants to be loved but is still working on being brave enough to come up to her foster humans. Once in her foster momma's arms, she enjoys soft, slow pets. Her ideal home would be with her friend Anakin without small children. Anakin is estimated to be five years old. He does not know he is a small little fellow. He likes slow introductions to other dogs. He is not too sure about cats. He loves to be held just as much as he loves to run and jump. He has high energy and is going through heartworm treatment. They will need a very patient family as they take a long time to get used to new people and situations. Both are fearful of fast movements and loud noises. Potty training is a work in progress and they must be leashed outside as they will run.
