Story
Prince is a brown and white male Chihuahua, Short-Haired and Yorkshire Terrier mix. He is approximately 5 years old. He is a really handsome guy that has had positive experiences with men, women, as well as young adults and young children. As for being around other dogs, Prince is dog selective with his friends. He is a really playful and outgoing boy that does enjoy a assortment of toys, but we dont recommended tennis balls, as he gets a little enthusiastic with them and the tennis balls loses. This fun guy gets really excited at times and has the best zoomies around, you could describe him calm yet energetic, so he is the best of both worlds. Price is house trained but will need some reinforcement due to some occasional accidents if your not there when he is at the door. Prince is going to make a wonderful companion for anyone, come see this handsome guy. For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30-6 Tuesday – Friday and 10:30-4 on Saturday (closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month).

Story
Unfortunately, Jelly’s owner became ill and was unable to care for him. Another family member took over but he was also unable to care for him and brought him to the Oasis. Jelly is estimated to be around 7-8 years old, so technically a senior but he almost certainly has another 10 years left in him. He’s about 9 lbs as well. He’s good with other dogs but prefers to be with calmer dogs as he can get overwhelmed by more rambunctious ones. He’s good with cats as well and would likely do well with slightly older children who won’t overwhelm him either. Unlike most chihuahuas, he doesn’t bark at strangers and is more than happy to be picked up by anyone. He also appears to be house trained and hasn’t had any accidents or marked around the house. He’s also got the silliest little bark/howl! He is microchipped, vaccinated, and will be heartworm tested and neutered on April 17th. The cost is included in his adoption fee

Meet a pet POTATO! Spud! Breed: Chihuahua Age: 2 years Weight: Small enough to fit in your lap, but full of personality Bio: Have you ever wanted a pet potato with a voice? Well, meet Spud, the tiny chihuahua with a BIG personality! This little guy may look like an Idaho favorite, but don't be fooled-he's got the confidence of a dog three times his size and a heart that's even bigger. Spud is all about the love and adoration of his humans. He's the type of dog who's always ready to greet you with excitement, charm, and maybe a little bark of enthusiasm. Despite his small size, Spud's presence is impossible to miss! Personality: Spud is the definition of "big things come in small packages." He may be tiny, but he's got a personality that will light up any room. He LOVES people-whether you're a stranger or a lifelong friend, Spud's ready to give you all the affection you can handle. Fun Fact: Spud's nickname could be "the chatty hashbrown." He's got a surprisingly loud bark for such a small dog, and he's not afraid to use it when he wants your attention. Whether he's alerting you to a potential squirrel sighting or simply demanding some lap time, his voice will definitely make an impression! Ideal Home: Spud would thrive in a home where he's the center of attention (as he deserves to be!). He'd be perfect for someone who loves a spunky, affectionate dog who's always ready to shower you with love. His ideal home is one where he's lavished with affection and gets plenty of playtime and attention. Spud is great with people and would do well in a household that's ready for a dog who will keep you entertained with his quirky charm and endearing personality. If you're looking for a pint-sized pup who's packed full of personality and love, Spud is ready to be your little voice of joy!

Story
🐾 Meet Landon: Your New Best Friend in Search of a Forever Home! 🐾 Hello! My name is Landon, and I’m a 1.5-year-old pup looking for my forever human to share all my love (and some soft treats!) with. Let me tell you a bit about myself: Healthy & Happy: I’m already neutered, microchipped, and crate trained. I don’t have accidents in the house—promise! And yes, I can hold it for up to 6 hours if you need to be away, though I’d prefer a potty break around 5:30-6:30 AM, 2:30-3 PM, and one last outing in the evening around 5-7 PM. •Walks & Play: Walks are my jam, and I adore playing fetch! If you’re an active person who enjoys spending time outdoors, we’ll be a perfect match. •Social Butterfly (but with a Shy Side): I can be a little nervous around new faces, but I warm up quickly. I love other friendly dogs my size or bigger, so I’d love to have a canine buddy if you have one! •Great for a Calm, Kid-Free Home: I haven’t been around babies or young kids,

Story
We are looking for a foster/adopter for this little cutie, Miss Priss. She is a very young, active senior Chihuahua weighing about 6 to 7 lbs. She was aged by the vet to be approximately 6 to 7 years old. She loves to play ball and run at warp speed. Her favorite toys are those that make noise and squeak. Miss Priss gets along great with other dogs and enjoys a good game of chase. This sweet, lovable pup is a definite lap dog and has thrived on all the attention she's been getting. Snuggling and cuddling are her favorite past times. If you're looking for a lap companion, Miss Priss would fill that need. If you're interested in fostering Miss Priss or adopting her, please contact us.
