What are cuddly dogs made of? Pumpkin and spice, and everything nice. Meet our sweet Short-Haired Chihuahua, Pumpkin. This little girl came to us with one other dog (Spice) from LaBelle Animal Control. She is the cuddliest girl you will ever meet. Pumpkin cannot be bribed with treats. She just wants all the love you have to offer. So, give her a lap to snuggle on and you will own her heart, just as we are sure she will own yours. Who can resist those sweet soulful eyes? Pumpkin is currently being treated for Heartworm disease. As such, she is not yet adoptable. We will update her profile as she progresses through the 4-5 month treatment process. This little doll is Robin. She is a Chihuahua Mix who found her way to ARC from Clewiston Animal Control with 3 others. Robin is a spunky little girl who loves to play and at the end of the day wants to cuddle close to her humans. Because of his past Archie will need some time to come around. He was in a shelter ready to be euthanized and is now with other dogs but will choose his friend in the bunch. He is 2 years old- 16LBS and very smart and would make a good agility dog and treat motivated. Crate trained- Little hand shy because he was probably abused. Never bit anyone. Plays with his Moe cow. Potty trained and doggie door trained. Loves his supper and treats. Doesn't need a dental. Teeth look great. Adoption fee is $50.00

Story
They are precious and have been together for many years. Missy (black and tan) in the picture is 15LBS and little more chunky that her sister Honey (7LBS)- They have been surrendered to us after their older Dad was taken to the hospital. One of the relative could not wait to get them out of there and obviously didnt want to be bothered by them. It was either us or the shelter. It has been quite of a road since we didnt have any background and no medical history. We had to vet them completely (vaccination etc...) Missy was spayed but not Honey because of her heart. We didnt want to take the risk. They are 2 old ladies who need a home and a place to land. They are great with other dogs. If you can help it is much appreciated. Please contact us with any questions.

Story
Tiana is a feisty little chihuahua mix with a larger than life personality. Her small stature is matched by a big, bold attitude that's both charming and intimidating to newcomers. With her ears perked and a confident strut, she's quick to show who's boss, often greeting strangers with a bark that seems to say, "stay back until I get to know you!" But beneath that fiery exterior lies a heart full of love and loyalty. Tiana is the type of dog who needs time and patience to warm up, but once she feels safe, she transforms into the most affectionate companion, showering her chosen humans with endless cuddles and kisses. For those who take the time to earn her trust, Tiana proves that even the spiciest pups have the sweetest love to give.
