Story
Roxie has been in her foster home for over a year In that time, she has been found to be: independent snuggly when she wants to be.. she will let you groom her she is a quiet girl at first but will let you know when its dinner time she does get along with all the dogs but doesnt really play with them. coexisting is a good word. .she does not need a home with another dog. And no little barky dogs she likes to chase. she walks great on lead. totally housebroken will bark to go out. crates great has some barrier reaction in a smaller crate, we are working on that.. something happened to her while she was kept in a small crate. That has pretty much subsided, we do feed in the crate all the time and have seen no reactivity for months no children would be best, 16 or up okay.. no cats no chickens. she watches my neighbors like a hawk, good news she calls off she knows her name and has a recall. she does not know sit down etc. and at 10 do you need it? she does not get on furniture. i have 12 dogs here she does NOT get in the mix. Overall Roxy is a nice senior dog, that has had a crappy life. She needs time to adjust to a new home and new people, once she knows you, her tail wags and she dances when you come in. She does need a dog savvy person, she will make a great companion dog for older couple or older single person who wants a dog to walk watch the sunset with or watch tv with. She needs a quiet environ, and a slow consistent person she can trust.. Fostered in Bradenton. Vet visit upcoming. 1/17 vet visit unremarkable. healthy senior pup. no issues. PUPDATE 7/24 Roxie continues to just be a sweet girl!! Is there no one out there that needs a great companion dog??? She is really not a snuggler, but instead will walk alongside you and be your best friend. She really needs to move to another foster OR adopter, so she can experience new situations. apps can be found at ewenityfarmsbch.com.

Story
Gracie is a wonderful and joyful girl. She is slowly warming up to people and new situations, but has been making excellent progress. She absolutely loves walking on a leash every morning with her foster buddies. She is in a foster home with cats, small and medium dogs. She would love a playful friend. Having a confidant dog in the home has has been so helpful for her to learn new things. She LOVES to go for walks. chasing lizards and playing fetch with her tennis ball. She goes outside to do her businesses. She keeps a clean kennel over night or while you are at work, preferring to go potty outside. She is very treat motivated. She has been spayed, and is doing wonderful with training! She is 10 pounds and estimated to be 1-2 years old. PUPDATE~~~ Gracie is now with a new foster in Bradenton. We are in need of a foster that is retired or has a set schedule, and knows something about dog behaviour, ya dont have to be an expert BUT you do need to know 1. Gracie is very slow to respond to change and she is very very shy and scared in new situations 2. She will absolutely need another kind patient dog or dogs to be around 3. she will absolutely need a fenced yard. 4. She does love to go for walks IF you are a kind patient loving person who can take the time to spend with Gracie, she will become your best friend. Currently she is in a rather raucous home with 10 hard core partying dogs, and they scare her.She will take time to get used to this situation and while it will happen with time, we would prefer to get her into a quieter situation ASAP. She is really a sweet dog who is just not adjusting well in this noisy household. I knew this would happen, but her prior foster had to move her. Gracie is shy with men, I dont have any of those so she needs someone that has exposure to them. If anyone can help that would be awesome. THis is a great little gal only 12 pds and in need. THank you so much..

Story
one of many dogs confiscated from a hoarding situation. Hen has received shots and is now spayed. She is good with other dogs, needs time with people, shy not snippy. She darts in to see you with tail awagging and then gets a pet and darts away.. She allows touch all over, and is easily picked up and held. Penny is a dogs dog. that means she prefers the company of dogs to people. She needs lots of touch, car rides different places to see and meeting lots of new people all in small metered doses. Will need a patient loving foster or foster to adopt who knows chis. This acclimation is at her pace not yours. She does allow handling and is good with other dogs. Now house trained and loves her crate! She will fly into her crate when I leave or she is going to eat! Will need another kind patient dog to be with but one that is really playful.. She is a very active girl and loves to play. She really cannot go to a home without another dog to model herself after. Fences yard is a must. Not quite sure about being a snuggly girl yet, but its coming!! Likes to sleep next to you! fostered in Bradenton. Apps are found at ewenityfarmsbch.com.. She is 12 pounds soaking wet!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.    Ryan is a shy with people does well with his pack friends. Ryan was left out side when his owners moved. He was on his own for about 11 months when animal control finally caught him. No one could touch him. He has come a long ways but needs someone who understands that it will take time for him to warm up to them. He does sit on my lap now and will sit next to someone he knows. He is an extreme flight risk until he can trust the person he is with.  He would do well if he has a playmate his size. He needs an experienced owner. He is not overly affectionate but loves to come on my lap and loves his back rubs and head scratchs. He also needs a secure fenced yard. He does not do well on a leash. Only experienced people with this type of dog will be considered for Ryan. Will not answer any emails just applications will be reviewed and considered. Ryan does not do well out side his environment. Needs someone who will be with him most of the time so he can start to feel secure not taken on trips or watched by other people. It will take time and he will come around to be a wounderful companion.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    October 23, 2024, 12:06 am

Story
Macky Mack Mack came to us and landed with one of our awesome fosters at the end of March. At the time of his intake he had almost no hair on his body. He had lived outside on a lanai with minimal care and interaction for the majority of his life. Fast forward a few months and he's a little spitfire he is a little shadow and loves nothing more than to be with his people. Mack is estimated to be about 1-1.5 yrs old and is a chihuahua mix - perhaps a little papillon there too. He loves other dogs, knows how to fall into his pack spot very well and learns very quickly. He is left out during the day with no, well minimal destruction... paper towels, socks, perhaps a shoe are fair game! He gets you in the habit of keeping things picked up and put away pretty quickly! He is still in his puppy stage for the most part so playing with his mouth, jumping, needing to hear "no more than once are still in his day to day activities, but you won't find a better cuddler or side kick that will follow you everywhere! He is only about 15-20 lbs, so he's a little guy! Mack LOVVEEESS cats. But that love includes a bit of racing, tackling and snuggle love so any future kitty siblings must be willing to accept his version of love! He is a little skittish with new people so he will need a family with the patience to help him adjust. He plays rather rambunctiously and does jump some so we think he would do best with older kids. Mack's awesome foster has spent the last two months giving him the love and care that he needs and we are so impressed with the progress he's made. He isn't ready to be adopted today, as he still needs additional routine vet care, but he will be ready to go home soon!! Story
Thanks for Paws-ing to take a look at me!  My name is Luly and I need a special kind of home.  I will love my special person, but it's going to take a bit for me to trust. I seem to be a bit more comfortable around women, and will need my new home to be a quiet place where I can decompress and have a little space to myself. I also require a house with a fenced in yard. I have seen a lot of homes in the past few months and really want to find my fur-ever person.  If you have experience with a fearful pet, who needs some space, please come and meet me.  (Training experience and chihuahua breed experience a must).  Of course, I have had a RUFF start in life, and am scared of many things. I know how to defend myself when I am frightened, but can be a really sweet girl once you get to know me.  I sit here waiting-  hoping that you are ready to change all of that for me!  If you would like to meet me, please complete an online questionnaire and one of our adoption counselors will be reaching out to see if I will be a good fit for you and your home.  Hope to see you soon!  https://www.fluffanimalrescue.org/adoption-application.   My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives. Thanks for considering adoption! *Information deemed reliable, but not Guarenteed*     ##1572335##

Meet Mila: A True Miracle Mila’s story is nothing short of miraculous. After being hit by a car while full-term with seven puppies, she defied the odds—every single one of her babies survived, healthy and strong. For the past six weeks, Mila has been an incredible, devoted mom, but now it’s her turn to be cared for and loved. Mila is seeking a quiet, adult-only home where she can be the center of attention—the only princess in the castle. She can be shy at first, but her curiosity shines through when meeting new people. With patience, understanding, and a gentle touch, she blossoms into the sweetest companion. If you’re ready to offer Mila the loving, supportive home she deserves after all she’s been through, apply today. She’ll be ready to go home on December 23rd—just in time to spend the holidays with her forever family.
