Story
Prince is a brown and white male Chihuahua, Short-Haired and Yorkshire Terrier mix. He is approximately 5 years old. He is a really handsome guy that has had positive experiences with men, women, as well as young adults and young children. As for being around other dogs, Prince is dog selective with his friends. He is a really playful and outgoing boy that does enjoy a assortment of toys, but we dont recommended tennis balls, as he gets a little enthusiastic with them and the tennis balls loses. This fun guy gets really excited at times and has the best zoomies around, you could describe him calm yet energetic, so he is the best of both worlds. Price is house trained but will need some reinforcement due to some occasional accidents if your not there when he is at the door. Prince is going to make a wonderful companion for anyone, come see this handsome guy. For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30-6 Tuesday – Friday and 10:30-4 on Saturday (closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month).

Story
Milo is a loving black and white Chihuahua. His previous owner was unable to take care of him due to age and health problems. He was rehomed a year ago, but current owner has to move to a smaller unit and unable to care for him due to living situation and age. Milo needs someone that can be with him all day. He has severe separation anxiety. He is potty trained, enjoys walks, treats and children. He can even sing! He gets along with other dogs but depending on breed, he may feel anxiety if the other dog bothers him too much.

Story
Unfortunately, Jelly’s owner became ill and was unable to care for him. Another family member took over but he was also unable to care for him and brought him to the Oasis. Jelly is estimated to be around 7-8 years old, so technically a senior but he almost certainly has another 10 years left in him. He’s about 9 lbs as well. He’s good with other dogs but prefers to be with calmer dogs as he can get overwhelmed by more rambunctious ones. He’s good with cats as well and would likely do well with slightly older children who won’t overwhelm him either. Unlike most chihuahuas, he doesn’t bark at strangers and is more than happy to be picked up by anyone. He also appears to be house trained and hasn’t had any accidents or marked around the house. He’s also got the silliest little bark/howl! He is microchipped, vaccinated, and will be heartworm tested and neutered on April 17th. The cost is included in his adoption fee
