Story
CHICO IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!   Chico is easily the sweetest fun-loving dog ever. He is happy-go-lucky, he is extremely smart and is eager to please his human. He is about 8-10 years old and 13lbs. Chico loves to cuddle with his person. He knows sit, come, back, find “whatever you ask him”. Chico is house trained and crate trained. He recently had a dental. Chico is a good eater. He is polite and loves meeting new people. Chico was an only dog in his original setting, walked into his multi dog foster home and immediately became the cruise director. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes. His favorite foster sibling are the pretty larger females! Chico is crate trained and house trained. He sleeps with his foster mom or in his open crate – his choice. Chico loves lap time. The best home for Chico will have a secure fence. Kids over 10 and with excellent doggy manners would be okay. Another well temperamented dog would be fabulous. An excellent history of vet care for current or previous pets is required. Previous specific breed experience will be given preference. He is fully vetted including spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Chico up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Chico here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 1:30 pm

Story
Looking for a new home… This is Dallas. He’s a 10 year old chihuahua mix. He’s a “one person” kind of dog. He gets along with cats, but takes time to adjust with other dogs. He is okay around kids. However, he is not completely housebroken. This and any other details can be discussed with those who are interested! Unfortunately, my current situation no longer suits him. I’m making the very hard decision to find him a new home where he can live out the rest of his years as a happy, old man. If you’re interested or know someone who may be- please PM me and or comment. ❤️‍🩹

Not all red heads have a temper, and nine pound Crimson is proof of that. Crimson is very affectionate and loves to play with other dogs. She is smart and learns new things easily. We think she is pretty much the perfect pet! A chihuahua terrier mix, Crimson is two years old, spayed, crate trained, and housebroken. She will also use pee pads if the weather is bad. Crimson would make a great second dog or be happy as the only object of your affections. She is eager to find her forever family and settle in as your new bff.

Story
Meet Sunshine!Breed Guess: Chihuahua mix                             Age: Puppy @ 13weeks old  Weight: 5lb...she is a petite and spunky girl! Other Animals: Sunshine is great with other dogs of all ages and sizes and will play very well with them. She has learned to respect the resident foster cat but may chase a less dog savvy feline.Kids: has not met any yet.House training: Working on it but progressing well. Sleeps through the night while in her crate with no accidents.  Exercise needs: Sunshine has a great energy level. She is always ready to play. She is NOT a lap dog. She LOVES playing with other dogs so we would prefer a home where she has opportunities to do that and/or a dog sibling or two. She is always on the go. A moderate to long walk and a fenced in area to adventure per day would be ideal. She would benefit from a professional puppy training class so she and her human can learn appropriate boundaries and direction. What she's great at: Mastering going upstairs. Knows how to sit on command. Enjoys the outdoors no matter if its snow or Sunshine outside.  What she's working on: House training, basic commands, and walking on leash. Personality: Sunshine is upbeat, fun, sweet, & the life of the party. When she tires she loves to cozy up next to her human or foster sibling on the couch! Sunshine's Story: Found on the streets of St. Thomas alone at 8 weeks of age. Dream Home: Someone who understands that despite her size she is still a dog and should be given boundaries and limitations. She is NOT a lap dog.  A house with a fenced in yard. Another dog sibling to play and share adventures. Older respectful children will be considered in the right home. An adult that would consider dog daycare or play dates weekly. ##2300584##

Apply for Mercury   Hi there, I'm Mercury, the delightful chihuahua/dachshund mix who’s as cute as a button! I'm getting all ready to be microchipped and have my age-appropriate vaccines soon! I'll stay on the petite side even when I grow up!   Since I'm such a little munchkin, I’m on a grand adventure, learning all the wonderful things life has to offer. Housebreaking and crate training? Oh, they’re still shiny and new to me, but I’m soaking it all up like a sponge! I get along fabulously with other doggos and kitties—yay for furry pals! I’d do great in a home with kiddos who are steady on their feet so they don't accidentally trip over me (did I mention I’m a little thing?). Playing and having fun is my jam, so my future forever family absolutely must be ready for lots of playtime and cuddles with me!   Apply for Mercury ##2302934##
