Story

Talon is a well-behaved, medium energy lap dog looking to claim a loving lap. In his Colorado foster home he has proven to get along well with other dogs and cats - he plays with the young cat but ignores the grumpy senior cat. He would do well in a house with other animals. He's getting the hang of walks and isn't reactive to other dogs but will need a nice, warm coat for the Colorado weather. But he's also happy being bundled inside your coat and carried too. 90% potty trained and no accidents if he’s getting let out. Talon loves to be by your side and seems like the kind of dog you can take with you everywhere. At home he likes to get his energy out playing with the other dog/cat, romping with toys, or chewing on bully sticks. After he'll be ready to cuddle on or next to you. He's very, very sweet. He's working on his crate training and will need someone who can put in time and patience. He'll go inside to chill or sleep but doesn't like the door being closed. He'd love to be in a house where he can cuddle up on the bed at night. His foster in New Mexico did say Talon could be a little bit of an escape artist (baby gates, pens, crates, small fences) but he's good in the yard with a big fence, when out on leash, and by the doors. Just not a fan of being confined. Talon is looking to find lifelong cuddle buddies for fun and new adventures. Talon was rescued from a shelter in New Mexico.
