Story

Eddy is a sweetheart that gets the zoomies everyday. He loves to play. Lasers to cat toys, he'll join the party. Plays nice with other dogs, but not a fan of my elderly grumpy dog. He is cuddly and snuggly and also kennel trained (included). Eddy also has some trama so I'm seeking a perfect fit. At first he wasnt potty trained, but I worked with him, and he has come a long way. Positive reinforcement has been the key as yelling at him is a set back. But, it is something to stay alert about and then there is no issue. Eddy has a nicer bark than my terrier and he is not a barker unless there is something to bark about. The reason I need to rehome Eddy is because my elder dog isn't accepting Eddy. I did not expect to have him, but circumstances landed him with me. Eddy just wants to play and and so another playful dog would be great. At the dog park, Eddy is submissive and crazy playful. I will keep him with me until a better fit is found since so much progress has been made.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THIS DOG: Tazz does not enjoy human interaction and much prefers the company of other dogs. He will take a long time to decompress around new people, but overall enjoys being independent. He needs an adopter who is patient, understanding of his personality and needs, and knows he does not bond with humans easily. Tazz is not a people-dog and still very much prefers the company of dogs. He still makes it very difficult to even approach, let alone touch him. Our director is working with him to show him that humans are not all bad and are actually a source of good things (like food!). Tazz needs an adopter who will understand his boundaries and need to go slow. If you are looking for a cuddle buddy, Tazz is not your guy (yet). If you are looking for a very rewarding experience in helping him become comfortable with humans, please apply! Tazz was rescued from an overcrowded shelter by our director when she visited our partner in New Mexico. He is very shy and appears to not understand what it is like to really be loved. Tazz is looking for a very patient person who can slowly show him what it is like to be loved and give him the unconditional love he deserves for the rest of his life.
