Mr Paco loves his treats, he’ll take out of your hand but he’s afraid doesn’t like to be touched. You’ll need to gain his trust and be patient. At this time I can’t tell you how he’ll be with a harness and leash. He’s using potty pads currently. Once he finds his person and begins to trust them, I can tell he’ll be a sweetheart.  ##2661661##

Pepino is a gentle, shy little guy who’s still learning how to feel safe and confident outside of the shelter environment. He’s a small-breed pup with a big heart, and he’s looking for a calm, patient home where he can truly blossom at his own pace. Pepino would do best with a compassionate and understanding adopter who can give him the time and space he needs to come out of his shell. A confident owner will help him continue building trust and confidence, especially as he navigates new experiences. He tends to feel most comfortable around dogs his own size or smaller, though he’ll need slow, thoughtful introductions to form those bonds. He’s also making steady progress with outdoor exploration, growing braver each day. A home with a secure, fenced yard would be ideal, giving Pepino a safe place to explore and gain confidence. He’s doing well with puppy pads—washable ones are recommended, as he sometimes chews disposable pads. Above all, Pepino is searching for a loving, patient person who will support him, encourage him, and show him that the world can be a safe and happy place. When Wolverine came to me a few months ago, he was really sick. With vet visits, medication and time, he ‘s happy, full of love and ready for his forever home. Wolfy will be shy at first but he comes out of his shell when he feels safe. He likes sitting in your lap getting belly rubs and giving kisses. Due to his illness he hasn’t been introduced to a harness or leash  much, so he’ll need  more training. He’s trained with potty pads, but he’ll need training for outside. Wolfy is a blessing and so sweet. We’re excited to meet his new family. ##2567524##

General Information:Cookie is an approximately 4-year-old female Chihuahua who has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on her vaccinations. She arrived at the rescue facility at the end of August 2025 accompanied by one puppy, who has since been adopted. Origin and Arrival:Cookie was rescued from Southeast Colorado; we believe that she and her puppy were left outside without a lot of human interaction. Training and Behavior:She is kennel-trained and familiar with using a doggie door.  Although she has experienced a few accidents inside the house, with consistent supervision, it is expected that she will become reliably housetrained. Social Compatibility:Cookie generally gets along well with most dogs but exhibits some bossiness and jealousy, especially when attention is given to other dogs. Therefore, careful management of interactions with other pets is advisable. Ideal Home Environment:It is recommended that Cookie be placed in a household with older children who are knowledgeable about dog behavior and language, ensuring a harmonious and understanding environment suitable for her needs. Hi I am Stidham!  I am estimated to be 5-6 years old. 11 whopping pounds of pure handsomeness.  I am a Chihuahua Mix, neutered male.  I can strut on my leash, and I look sooooo good walking and kicking up my paws, enjoying the great outdoors! I am good with the other dog in my foster home; she is another small dog. Kitties are unknown. I was recently at an event, and I did OK with the kids petting me. BUT to be fair, I was picked up as a stray, so EAPL does not have much history about me. My foster mom says I am a good boy in my house manners.
