Story
Meet Willis, an approximately 8-year-young, 8-pound Chihuahua with a heart full of love. This sweet, mellow little guy is happiest when he’s close to his people—his true favorite thing in the world. Willis gets along wonderfully with other dogs and doesn’t seem bothered by cats, making him an easy addition to many homes. He’s a quiet companion who enjoys the simple pleasures in life: cozy naps, tasty snacks, and relaxing by your side. The only time you’ll hear from him is when it’s mealtime—he’ll happily remind you that he’s ready to eat! Willis recently had major dental work and now has very few teeth, so he does best with soft treats, wet food, or small kibble. He’s neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative—ready to settle into his forever home. His foster mom has completely fallen for him, and it’s easy to see why. Willis is a gentle, loving companion who’s ready to bring warmth and happiness to his new family.

Story
Meet Shakira. Yes, her hips do lie… right next to you on the couch after a busy day of play! This fun-sized sweetheart has all the best puppy qualities of playfulness, curiosity, and a love of adventure with the benefit of being house and crate trained. Shakira loves her dog friends, a game of fetch, a long walk, or the challenge of a food puzzle. When the fun is over, she’s more than happy to soak up all the attention you’re willing to give while she sits on your lap. She’s curious about cats but polite enough to respect their boundaries. She does great with kids, though her enthusiastic play style may be a little too energetic for very small children. At the perfect “take me anywhere” size, Shakira is ready to be your hiking buddy, road trip copilot, neighborhood walking partner, and professional cuddle consultant. If you’re looking for a dog who can keep up with your adventures and make you laugh every day, Shakira is waiting to meet you. Shakira is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Shakira is also tested with other dogs, cats, children, and potty and kennel trained. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Paddy is a little 10 lb senior who needs a forever home! He enjoys being outdoors in the sunshine and curling up next to his person on the sofa. He’s a sweet, gentle fella who thrives on attention and being close to his human. He gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. Paddy does wear a belly band indoors, and he has some hearing loss. This means he can occasionally get startled and grumpy if approached unexpectedly, so he’ll do best in a home that understands his needs. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and just had a dental. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key best friend to share your days (and your couch), Paddy may be the perfect match!   He’s located in Berthoud, Colorado. If you have questions about Paddy, please email rescue@harleysdream.org

Story
Hey! I’m Chapo, and I heard you were looking for a sidekick?! Well, I’m your guy! I love nothing more than being a lap dog, I love car rides, and endless snuggling. I am guessed to be a 6-7 year old Chihuahua mix. A few things you’ll love about me is I’m great on a leash, potty/crate trained, and want nothing more then to be by your side. However, I do get bit overwhelmed with pushy dogs and also with young children. So, I’d be best in a slower paced home with another calm dog as a friend and no small kids. I’d also love to be the only dog and soak up all the love if that's what you've got in mind as well! Apply and meet me in Littleton!
