Story
Ross is a 12-13 (ish) little old man Chihuahua weighing about 5lbs. Ross was dumped at an overcrowded shelter in Texas.  He was absolutely terrified, confused, and lost, so the shelter reached out to us in hopes of getting him into our foster program.  Here is what Ross's foster Momma has to say about him: "Ross loves to sleep the day away whether he is in a comfy bed, curled up on a blanket, or on your lap. He really enjoys the sunshine when we go out on warmer days for potty breaks and he’s done a really good job with his potty training. He’s the perfect, no fuss companion for someone looking to cuddle the day away and best friend to do it with." If you are interested in adopting Ross, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2646822##

Story
Hi! My name is Carl and the rescue that saved me says I am the cutest creature - they call me a little werewolf. I just arrived in Colorado 3/4 from New Mexico and so far I LOVE it here! -My foster family says I am the SWEETEST and friendliest little pup who seeks affection -They also describe me as "perfect" -I love to give kisses and cuddle by you on the couch -I walk wonderfully on leash and would be a great adventure buddy! -I'm an active little guy and love prancing around the yard but I'm super chill in the house. If you don't have a yard I can prance around on walks with you! -I currently walk a minimum of 30-60 minutes a day which is my favorite part of the day! I'm looking for a home that will keep up with my daily walk routine to keep me active and healthy -I am great with dogs, cats, chickens, and people -I am not shy and have been described as confident and vocal in my foster home when I am crated but I am quieting down as I adjust to my foster home. I prefer having a little space when left alone and do well in my playpen! -I am mostly potty trained and have not had accidents as long as I'm monitored with a consistent routine in the house. I saw the vet recently and they are guessing that I am a senior around 8 years old. I do have a heart murmur that does not need intervention, it just needs to be monitored and I will need a dental cleaning after adoption. I am missing some hair but it doesn't bother me - the vet suspects this is from malnutrition prior to rescue and it is slowly starting to grow back. All POSO Dogs come with: - Spayed/Neutered - Basic Shots (age appropriate) - Fecal and 4dx testing - other medical concerns addressed before adoption - 2 Free one on one dog training sessions with a professional dog trainer - Training received in foster home - Basic things like some food, treats, leash and collar - PDFs of training material and local coupons and dog sitter recommendations
